East at Jacaranda Golf Club

This is a course with outstanding value. Course is in excellent condition. Greens are well manicured and relatively fast. Fairways are plush and well maintained. Pace of play was excellent. Finished 18 holes on a Monday morning in less than four hours. Staff was professional and attentive. Highly recommended.

Course was in excellent condition, and the pace of play was good. Greens were pristine, though slower than expected. 5 tee box choices, including 3 rated for women, was a plus. Not pleased with the reception by the staff. After checking in for my prepaid tee time, the pro shop sent me right to the starter, who informed me I would have to go back to the pro shop to purchase the practice balls that he had right at his booth. The starter told me to take my time at the range since, as a single, I would have to hope that a 2 or 3-some showed up so I could go out. My prepaid reservation meant nothing. After hitting less than half the ridiculously expensive $9 small bucket, I was sent right out. Snack bar had stale, awful bagels, and the beverage cart didn't come to our foursome until we reached the 17th tee.

Bottom line: a really nice course but the customer service needs work.

The price was a little high for the dry and brown conditions. The green were extremely hard and the fairways were a little rough. Great GPS and service.

Jacaranda East is a nice course, well designed with quite open fairways and some difficult holes with water hazards. The bunkers were perfect and the greens recently treated were ok.
30$ for spectator fee is very expensive. Just a few clubs in Florida charge spectators.

This course is in excellent shape from the fairways to the greens. Having played several different courses this winter, it was a nice change to see that some courses still do an outstanding maintenance job. Of course the greens fees are higher than most courses open to the public in that area so it goes to show you get what you pay for! Worth the extra dollars!

My wife and I played it in 2008, and it har been a lot better since then. Greens - amazing!! The layout - the idea of how to play the course is very challenceing.
We are taking good care of, when we arrive, and all the people are very helpfull. Thankyou.

2 18 Hole course...both good, challenging.
rough had a few sparse spots but greens were good(but not fast) fairways good,

First off, staff is very good and very friendly. Greens fees are $140, which is much more expensive than many of the courses in and around the Fort Lauderdale area. Course did not wow me enough to feel like it was worth the money, but it is high season at this time of year. Biggest issue is the practice range. All sand, no grass. And the rest of the chipping and practice areas are underwhelming. Many of the tee boxes were not in very good shape out on the golf course, and the fairways looked a little beat up. However the greens were in good shape

Played East twice in 3 days. Well conditioned to players liking; tight fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and hard fast greens. A players course...high handicappers should choose the West course.

Course was well kept, fairways lush and well manicured. Greens were very fast the day I played but ran true. Lots of bunkers both fairway and green side all were well cared for.

Friendly staff, tee times are accurate, course challenging and in good condition

We played the East course and the course was in great condition. Greens rolling true. All employees I came in contact with from bag drop, pro shop, starter and ranger couldn't have been more professional and friendly. This club has a good feel to it. The Golfnow rate is a real deal.

Gread condition and layout. I would love to play it again With some people that play of same caliber as I.

Would have liked to walk this course but carts were required. Otherwise I had a good time. The East course is straight forward and pretty easy because there is virtually no trouble except sand traps. A good course to practice your game so that you can play more difficult course later on. 5 sets of tees of which three are rated for women so you can make it more difficult by playing the back tees. Nicely landscaped with trees. We played in the middle of the day so it wasn't too crowded.
Good driving range. 45 balls for 9.50..
