East at Jacaranda Golf Club
About
The East Course is one of two four-star rated championship courses at Jacaranda Golf Club. Both golf courses have a tropical landscape covered with ponds, canals, colorful landscaping, and of course plenty of swaying palms. The East Course is the longer of the two courses. It has served as host for several PGA and USGA tournaments and qualifying events. The layout features tree-lined, undulating fairways and raised, sloped greens. It offers a challenge at almost every turn with 80 bunkers strategically placed throughout and water hazards on 15 holes. Some of the bunkers are built into the mounding complexes, giving them sod faces and high lips that are difficult to navigate. Those that manage them successfully though will be rewarded with excellent scoring opportunities. The popularity of the two golf courses has affirmed Jacaranda as one of the best places to play in southeast Florida.

Great staff, ok course
Firendly good staff all the way from bag drop to course marshalls. The course was in pretty good shape. Well trimmed fairways and greens.
Excelent
Excelent Green condition. The fairway is like a carpet
Great round with friends
Tee boxes and fairways in great shape. Some greens in need of work at edges. Bunkers in good shape, rough up a little so be sure to watch your ball. Overall a great course.
This is a great course to play!
It's in great condition, beautiful and well maintained. Challenging layout and greens, we'll be back!
very nice
had a great time course was in great condition. did not eat or use club house.
Hot deal/hot day
Got the hot deal for $36. Played here 1 month ago, fairways were great, however the greens were patchy and generally poor. This time most were in far better shape. Hence I'll be back soon. Good value for money this time of year if you pick the right time of day. I recommend.this course for single figure handicappers particularly. Overall a challenging layout with good variety, driving is key to scoring well here.
Jacked at Jac
There are two courses and both offer different chanenges. The conditions of the course was very good and the weather cooperated, so it was a very enjoyable day of golf. There were only a few other groups on the course, so the pace of play was quick (just over 3hrs). The course is on average $20-30 more than a number of other options in the area, so there are less expensive choices.
Cart Path Only
Played the east--fairly easy course -- greens have some spots that need repair. Course doesn't drain well at all -- day before no rain--course still soaked from rain a couple days before--cart path only. Green fees are fair, range bucket steep at 10$ For 45balls. Pick your days.
Good experience
It was my first time playing the course. For those with food allergies, they do not allow personal coolers in the golf cart. So to bring your own snacks or lunch. Be preparee to leave it in your golf bag.
The was well groomed, the t-boxes, fairways and greens were in good to great condition. Due the weather, the course was wet and therefore, carts were not permitted off the cart path which slowed the play, substantially.
Overall, this course deserves a return visit under dryer conditions.
Nice enough course
Course is decent enough, I think the cart path restrictions on some holes are temporary due to water . Try and hit next to the path on those holes I guess ...the practice range would be really nice if it had any length to it, irons only which is pretty lame. It's a decent track but I don't think id go back again. I've found better GN deals than this one.
Course was in good condition
I enjoy the golf it was wet but the course was in good condition and the staff was every helpful
Nice layout but...
We liked the layout and the staff friendliness.
But greens condition were not that good !
Great value
Really enjoyed playing this course on the Fourth of July
The course is in great shape and a real pleasure to play. It is a challenging course but gives you many opportunities to score. I will definitely play again.
Could use some drainage
The course is a good challenge, with a mix of target and bomb and gouge style holes. I usually enjoy this course. I had been boycotting the place after then shifted a large group in front of me when an outing on the west course overflowed, but a great price lured me back, glad I tried it again. Don't play after an overnight heavy rain or you will be doing the cart path only routine. If it is hot and steamy, this gets old fast. This course does not drain well, strange being in Florida, I guess it used to be a swamp. Too bad they don't have some sort of drainage system to help.
Great track
Course was in great shape. Greens were fast, staff was friendly
This Course has great view
Very scenic and it would be a challenge for every handicap.
Great Course-EAST
I loved this course, it had multiple tee boxes and I played the #2's, which played at 6890, mistake on my part, as I'm not that good. It rained heavy the night before so it was cart path only until the back nine. Rangers were all over the course and very friendly, keeping up the pace of play. The condition of course was excellent, even with the rain. I played in the afternoon and the rate was very reasonable for the quality of course.
Uneccessary wait
When I got to the starter there was no one ahead of me, nor behind (I was a single). The starter called the pro shop and asked if there were anyone coming to play. They told him that there was a threesome and that they'd be "right down". The stared made me wait almost 15 minutes. When they came down they wanted to go hit a bucket of balls (which I didn't). I asked the starter to just let me go, he said no but gave me a free bucket of balls. So I had to wait another 20-30 minutes. So 45 min after my time we teed off!
Don't go as a single and get a TEE TIME (which I had) if a pair.
My son and I
My son and I had a wonderful time playing the east course. The greens were a little bumpy but overall conditions very good.
