About
The East Course is one of two four-star rated championship courses at Jacaranda Golf Club. Both golf courses have a tropical landscape covered with ponds, canals, colorful landscaping, and of course plenty of swaying palms. The East Course is the longer of the two courses. It has served as host for several PGA and USGA tournaments and qualifying events. The layout features tree-lined, undulating fairways and raised, sloped greens. It offers a challenge at almost every turn with 80 bunkers strategically placed throughout and water hazards on 15 holes. Some of the bunkers are built into the mounding complexes, giving them sod faces and high lips that are difficult to navigate. Those that manage them successfully though will be rewarded with excellent scoring opportunities. The popularity of the two golf courses has affirmed Jacaranda as one of the best places to play in southeast Florida.

West Side is a nice course.
Played the West from the number two tees and had a great time. It was quite wet so the greens were holding, but if it had been dry you would need to be careful with driver on several holes. Position is everything on this course.
SLOWWWWWW PLAY
got paired up with two players who had to play the tips and clearly were beginners who could not hit the ball more than 180 yards at their best. they were from UK and I asked politely that they should be playing up a couple of tee boxes and they got mad at me for even suggesting that. I am a 10 handicap and my partner is a 9 handicap and this had to be one of the worst rounds I remember playing.They kept driving on fairways on par 3s and the carts would shut down. The ranger did nothing and they backed the place up so bad I had to leave.people in back of us were hitting into us and I can't blame them. lot of money to play here and I was so embarrassed I had to leave and staff could of cared less.Not a place I would recommend because my experience was horrendous.Should have been given some sort of refund say 9 hole or something not that I'm interested
Worth your time
Beautiful facility with attentive friendly staff. Two courses played both. Each offers it's own challenges so pick your poison. Course is in great shape. Greens are a bit fast but oh so true. Stay in the fairway, the rough doesn't look too menacing bit it is. Would definitely play this course again if in the area.

The course was great. Not challenging although. Greens were fair condition and golf cart with gps was great, would definitely go back when I return to florida
Father and sons day out
Growing up In south Florida I had the luxury of playing Jacaranda many times. However, since their renovation I have not played either course. I'm going to keep my review objective and short. The course was in very good shape, and played though from the tips. It's greens rolled very smoothly and true. The pace of play was good and right about 4 hours. However, the staff was rude and impatient. Starting with the check in process to the starter. Both were non welcoming and unfriendly. So if you don't kind a cocky staff then it's east course will challenge you certainly.
36 Holes at Jacaranda
Both the East and West courses were in very good shape. I probably prefer the West a bit over the East course, but both were very good. The facility is well run and the staff does an excellent job
Best course in broward county
I have lived in the ft Lauderdale area my whole life so I have played almost every course within reach and other than a couple private courses I don't think their is a better course. The West is user friendly and the east will kick your you know what. Bag staff is great.
One of our favorite places to play!
Stayed in the area for a week. Played here 4 times (also 1 time on the East Course). West is a fun, challenging course. Each hole is different and exciting. Fairways in excellent condition. Greens rolled true. Looking forward to playing again next year.
Nice easy course.
Good Course. Fairways were a little choppy, greens good, traps were in good condition. Layout average. We like the West Course better, but East is still a nice course.
Beautiful course
We enjoyed this course very much. The fairways and greens are in excellent shape. The course is challenging but offers 5 choices of tee blocks to suit every level.

Tough to get GIRs
The raised greens make for some good scrambling
Take your blood on the front because on the back, they stretch par 4s to 420+

The course is in much better shape than many of the surrounding courses.
Good gold and good friends
Went out on time and played the first nine holes without catching anyone. At the turn got behind a slow foursome, which held up our play. The fairways were plush and the greens smooth and moderately fast. There were some subtle breaks that were sometimes difficult to read. Overall good experience and can't wait to return. We played from the next to longest tee placement and found it to be challenging but fun. Nice people work there and they made us feel at home. Would recommend this course any time.
Well worth your money if you pay less than $75
