East at Jacaranda Golf Club
About
The East Course is one of two four-star rated championship courses at Jacaranda Golf Club. Both golf courses have a tropical landscape covered with ponds, canals, colorful landscaping, and of course plenty of swaying palms. The East Course is the longer of the two courses. It has served as host for several PGA and USGA tournaments and qualifying events. The layout features tree-lined, undulating fairways and raised, sloped greens. It offers a challenge at almost every turn with 80 bunkers strategically placed throughout and water hazards on 15 holes. Some of the bunkers are built into the mounding complexes, giving them sod faces and high lips that are difficult to navigate. Those that manage them successfully though will be rewarded with excellent scoring opportunities. The popularity of the two golf courses has affirmed Jacaranda as one of the best places to play in southeast Florida.

With an Asterisk
Day I played was interrupted by rain showers that became longer, heavier and more frequent as the day went on. As a single, I was paired with a twosome who were extremely pleasant to play with. Very few people on the course given the forecast, but at least 1/2 of the holes were cart path only (if you included the par 3s which are always - and rightfully so - designated). This explains my less than 4 stars for pace of pay - NOT the fault of the course! Course conditions were fine, especially given the circumstances re: weather. Layout was enjoyable and very "Florida" as I regard it: generally flat, with water as the prominent hazard, and modestly elevated greens. In general, no complaints at all about staff from start to finish, an intrepid beverage cart staff given the conditions, a courteous shop staff and pleasant waitstaff at the 19th hole where a traditional menu of light lunch/apps were enjoyed by all. I would be happy to return there.
The choice in Ft. Lauderdale
Lots of choices in the Ft Lauderdale area, but this one is the best. Two hood courses, hood facilities, and great service. I recommend it highly.
Great resort course
Booked on GolfNow for $55/person. Great deal at that price. It rained heavily all night but the course was in fine condition. Greens were still firm and a bit fast, but fair. Carts have GPS now. Not too much trouble and low rough. Enjoyable morning of golf.
Excellent course
This is excellent course to play in south of Florida. Nothing you could complain at all. Thanks.
Wonderful golf course and great value
Immaculately manicured and a great play for the price.
Hidden Gem
Both the East and West course provided enough challenge for us. The wind and water provided additional challenges. The only negative would be that the distances are difficult to determine as the 200, 150, and 100 markers are on the cart path and all others are on the sprinkler heads. The latter are sometimes difficult to find.Greens are large and generally 2 putt greens with flags in favourable positions. Sandtraps were well raked; however, we were out early in the day, so not sure what condition they would be in by the afternoon. We played the course 5 times and we definitely put in on our list of must play next year.
The course is amazingly great
Great course condition and play was fast, except for a lawn mowing maintenance guy who keeps mowing the green for 10 minutes and did not stop until one of us came forward and told him that we want to hit our approach shot and has to stop. Hope that the course super can address this issue. Other than that the course is highly recommended,
Great deal for twilight play .
great value uncrowded and good condition very nice layout will go back and play east course
Course a little soggy due to rain but overall great conditions greens a little slow
Great course. Slow greens.Course a little soggy due to rain but overall great conditions greens a little slow
Best course that I have played in the Fort Lauderdale area
Loved the choices of distance with 5 different tee box locations..
West is better conditioned!
We played both the east and west courses while in Miami area. West is in better condition but both were nice.
East Course
A challenging but fair test of golf. Well maintained. Fast greens.
Good value for money and nice course
We had a really nice round.. Course looked good, and plays well to those with long drives... However, beware the dress code... You need to have a collared shirt or you'll have to buy one.. That little surprise set me back some extra $$$$
You have to be on your game for this one
Course has great fairways and greens. Challenging holes on most of the 18 played. You have to really pay attention to your game, will be going back again to take it on
This coarse is in great shape
I played the East coarse ..Great condition . Geens are fast ,soft and spongy .absolutely beautiful . Fairways were perfection . I Almost didnt want to take a divot . Great coarse . You have to play!
This is one of the nicest courses we played in quite awhile. Great landscapping and ideal course conditions. Want to play it again and again.

Course has a great layout
With 5 sets of tees this course is friendly to all levels of players. I took my wife who is a novice and I am an 8. We had a really enjoyable time. What was really nice there has been alot of rain locally and the course we played earlier in the week was a swamp. This course was in great shape and within 7 holes the ranger came out and changed it from cart path only to 90 degree. It is a bit pricey but worth a play.
Excellent greens
Great course, great conditions the staff is really friendly.
