About
The East Course is one of two four-star rated championship courses at Jacaranda Golf Club. Both golf courses have a tropical landscape covered with ponds, canals, colorful landscaping, and of course plenty of swaying palms. The East Course is the longer of the two courses. It has served as host for several PGA and USGA tournaments and qualifying events. The layout features tree-lined, undulating fairways and raised, sloped greens. It offers a challenge at almost every turn with 80 bunkers strategically placed throughout and water hazards on 15 holes. Some of the bunkers are built into the mounding complexes, giving them sod faces and high lips that are difficult to navigate. Those that manage them successfully though will be rewarded with excellent scoring opportunities. The popularity of the two golf courses has affirmed Jacaranda as one of the best places to play in southeast Florida.

Beautiful, well maintained course.
Beautiful course, pace of play was excellent - no waiting and it was a busy day, restaurant and bar staff were friendly and extremely accommodating, good food.
super fast and firm greens. every hole seemed to be 430 from gold tees.
good course,really nice shape,hard track. Everything was good,but ranger rushed us on 16 when we hadn't seen everyone the whole day, nobody in sight when he flagged us down.

This was a great deal! The course was in great condition and we played it in just over 3 hours. I really enjoyed this course.

Course was in great shape and wasn't crowded. Greens were in nice shape. $99.99 greens fee is a little steep. Got tee time the day before and played for $79.99 which was still a little steep. $70 and $50 would be better.

Nice Course, but sadly people just don't take care of the golf courses.
Solid course, nice experience
I selected Jacaranda East because of solid reviews here and wasn't disappointed overall. Very friendly reception at bag drop and pro shop, somewhat less so at starter booth, bit gruff. Useful and well placed range. Course was very picturesque and playable from whites for my 14.8 index. Other two courses I played in Fort Lauderdale area both had GPS and missed it here, but yardages well identified on sprinkler heads. What was toughest to get used to were the greens, unique surface with sparse grass cover. Held well but could never used to the speed or look, which made for a handful of 3-putts. Overall, a pleasure to play and yes would recommend.
Super challenging
I got an early tee time on the East course. I had difficult finding the golf course why I did not have time for any practice balls.
I like a long and tough challenge which this certainly was from back tee (number 1 tee).
On several par 4 hole I had to use a 4 iron even if I had a really good tee shoot. Yes, it was windy and a little bit wet in the grass but I am definitely coming back next year to improve my round at low 80s.

I plaid the course before and I like it this time we had to wait a bit because of slow players in front but finally they let us carry on
Great value, great location
Well-kept track that is moderately challenging. Best part is the value - as a Fort Lauderdale resident, this is great because it's close (10 miles from downtown) and the (weekday) pricing of roughly $80 is pretty good for the area.

I likes to play that course the fairway and green are in good condition but the time of play was slow but i still recommend this course it is very nice.
Enjoyable course.
5 sets of tees for men so there are choices to play to your handicap. Efficient Bag Drop area, Pro Shop, Starter and Marshalls. Fairways and bunkers were in average condition (compared to a private course) whereas the greens ran fast and in good condition despite numerous ball marks that were not repaired by previous players. Good pace of play. Suggestion: add GPS to the carts that would reduce the guessing for 1st time players unfamiliar with the course and therefore improve the marketability of course. I'd come back again.

The course is in great shape . You get to hit all our clubs. The greens are fast and beautiful. It's a fair course for scoring .The fairways and the rough are beautiful..
The course was great! The staff esp the starter and the front desk guy were somewhat rude
My son and I really enjoyed the course and the couple we were paired with. The flow of play was good and we had a great time golfing.

I would definitely golf here again because the course was well taken care of and was challenging but not overly so.
Great Value
The course was in great condition. Tees were in great shape, fairways were well kept, the greens were very well maintained and fast, they provided good tru roll no hops.
Pace of play for a Sunday at 10 am wasn't bad, finished the round in a bit over 4 1/2 hours.
The greens were consistent and the ball rolled at a very nice pace.
First time here. Excellent Service and Great conditions. I would recommend to anyone. A wonderful experience.
Excellent choice
The East course was in excellent shape. Fairly difficult from the back tees and the staff were very nice. I would recommend playing this course, especially at the 40 dollar price I received from Golfnow...
