East at Jacaranda Golf Club

Its often tough to get rounds in on reasonably good, well maintained, public courses in the Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale area.

A group of friends, 8-12 of us, have played Jacaranda's two courses for about a decade now each spring.

Both courses have good layouts. I can't describe a distinction. Plenty of challenge in the wind, plenty of choices as to which tees to play. They always do a very good job with the greens, bunkers and tees (many public courses in the area have "issues": keeping up with this. You pay a bit more here, yes, but I think its definitely worth it (particularly if its an escape from winter).

Great warm up range, convenient lunch, bar and snack shop, easy to get to from FLL. People have always been nice and have been very accommodating when changing the numbers of golfers comes up, jumping out sooner when possible (or later when players have issues getting to the course).

This is our "go to" location. I book them because I know everyone, even the pickiest of players, will be happy here (particularly just off a plane from the cold). Just went in March.....still great and consistent as ever.

Try it. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Pace of play moved right along. The fairways were in great shape and the greens putted out with consistent speed.

The coarse was very organized. Can’t wait to come back and play the east coarse.

Nachos shouldn’t take an hour and shouldn’t be nasty. Bartenders don’t deserve respect until earned, and should not confront a customer ever. Don’t call the cops on your customers. Don’t expect service at the level this course price would portray. Cart girl was great, not the one with the fat burnt arm.

Jacaranda was in great condition, pace of play was a little slow but playing behind a tournament so after told by marshal, relaxed and enjoyed course. Greens were true and layout interesting.

Course was in great condition. Got a hot deal for $70 for 9:59am tee time. Worth every penny. Friendly staff. Ranger did a great job with pace of play. I’ll definitely be coming back soon.

A solid test of golf! The course was in great shape and played very tough. I really enjoyed the entire experience. Wonderful staff, very customer friendly.

As on the West Course, the tee and fairway grass, which is Paspalum, is excellent for a South Florida daily fee course.

We arrived early and they allowed our twosome to go ahead of a party of 4 foursomes. Managed a 3.5 hour round in perfect course and weather conditions.

Friendly staff. Conditions were good. Greens were fast. An overall good experience

The conditions were awesome even in the intense heat. Very much recommended.

Jacaranda East is a fine golf course. Played from tee #3 which was about 6,400. Played long with the wind and softness. Yes, they’ve been watering because I had mud balls and saw plug marks all day. There are some areas where grass growth is a problem and that’s a problem around the greens. The front has some tight driving or non driver holes for many. The back is more open. You have to be golfing your ball well to get around this place. Fair. Not easy. The greens were covered lightly with white stuff. Not too bad but different to putt on. The greens can be tough if your not careful. A couple of slopes that sneak up on you if your not careful. There are a few fun risk/reward holes and a few gorgeous holes on the back. 3rd time playing and I will go back. Very nice staff inside and out. Very nice pro shop and facility. Fun place to play.

Great track, everything from tee boxes to fairways and especially the quick greens were all flawlessly conditioned. Really great gold course, just the right amount of water and enjoyable to play. Challenging yet rewarding and playable. Staff were extremely friendly as well and finished the round in four hours. My first time playing but certainly not my last.
