it's so great course. and putting practice is good time for me. Office personnel is so kind and golf players to be met ground are so kind.

Really worth the money, Outstanding well-maintained golf Course!!!

Great greens stimping at 10-11. Relatively flat course but majority of the holes have some character to them. Some patchy spots in some of the fairways but overall the course was in good condition. As a retired military member, I did not have the problems at the front gate that others have stated. Would play again.

always a good time,a little windy as always,. hooked up with some low handy cap players,was a pleasure to see a 74 . tony at the pro shop was great. love the driving rang all grass 1 dollar gets you 17 balls,greens are getting punched on the 28th,

I had read the reviews in advance so I kinda knew what to expect at the base gate. Drivers license, car registration and insurance papers. We got there a little over an hour early so we could use the range. The guard at the gate told us there was a tournment at the course and our tee time was set back almost an hour. They will not let you on the base until an hour before your tee time. The guard did let us in a little early. The pro shop was very friendly and gave us free range balls because of the delay. The tournment was all Asians and when the group went through #1 tee they told the starter that it was their last hole. They finally quit after hole # 6 and we were 2 hours into the game. After that we breezed through the course and only seen two other groups on the course.
It sure would be nice if the pro shop and golfer had each others phone #'s so delays like this or any other changes you could be given a heads up.
The reason I wanted to play this course was because when I was stationed there 46 years ago and I didn't play golf. My barracks was just across the street and I didn't even walk across to even look at the course.

This course I have played several times now. It is in great condition. The greens are the best in San Diego. Pace of play is quick. It's a hassle to get on base but worth the trouble.

This course is on base and it can takes up to an hour to get through security, it you have all documents. They require car ownership, proof of insurance, photo id, etc. Take a umber and hope you get in, or just don't go

I cant access even club house on time cause gate keeper didnt know where the entrance and after got direction there was the other trouble that my vechicle and my passenger should registered at the gate. I dont know why this unaccessible military golf course are existing on golfnow?
I beat my head so im crazy there are so many golf course on San Diego. Never go again.

Everything was perfect except for the starter. We were never called to the tee. We finally went off on our own. Due to the delay there was a back-up behind us. Desk personnel was rude.
We were rewarded on the back 9, we had two baby deer come out from the underbrush and walk right by us. A real thrill!!

Fairway is so so.. Overall not bad for price, flat straight course.. Easy front back 9 some long par 4

Second time in 10 years and the greens were in phenomenal shape!

Greens were soft but did not hold unless great shot made. The ball rolled true.

Very difficult to find. Use the East Gate Entrance to the base. Don't trust any mapping program. And for goodness sake, bring CURRENT registration, CURRENT insurance, and non-expired driver's license. Or you are not getting in. Extremely, extremely rude people at the vehicle registration center. They almost seem to despise civilian golfers. If and when you make it the course, it's a great, albeit slow, experience. Be sure to arrive very early.

Rounds at Miramar can get quite lengthy. It took about 5 hours to complete yesterday's hack-a-thon. With all the cool air activity overhead, there's a lot worse places to spend 5 hours... Tee to Green: The tee boxes were in need of a haircut...hard to find a nice place to drop the peg. The fairways were on the hard side with a lot of run. The greens were hacker-fast and this hacker could never figure them out... turrible putting round! Good conditions overall and a great value with a weekday hot-deal.

Not bad. Tee boxes not cut. Two fivesomes let us through.

Haven't play this track , however, will likely play again. Fairway are lush so don't expect much roll to this course for added distance. Greens slow with not much break. Very enjoyable round, old style grounds pretty flat and plays long from tips. Have a laser for distance and you're be fine. 11:04 time wide open. Needs a little work on tee boxes but use your two club clearance for finding flat even lies. Last two par fours over 400 yds wind to the hole club down. Great pro shop, buy your stuff there with no sales tax being on the base. Cool logo stuff prices reasonable.

Course was dry and a little ripped up. Great sites of military aircraft. Fast pace of play. Very flat and wide course.

MCAS Miramar has well maintained greens. They are fast and true. Not an overly long course but is challenging if you don't hit the fairway. Can't beat the price.
