Colina Park Golf Course

About
Colina Park Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-3 course that has a reputation for having some of the best conditions in the area. The course is an excellent spot for working on your short game. You can leave your driver at home because your wedge and putter will be doing most of the work. The layout is a seemingly short 1,250 yards but it's packed with challenges including more than 10 bunkers, two lakes, and even a few waterfalls. The par 3s range in length from 67 yards to 125. Some of the elevated tee shots can be intimidating and the undulations in the fast greens call for careful course management. Colina Park Golf Club is a course that will test you, no matter what your skill level, and to make it even more appealing, it's also one of the most affordable rounds in the San Diego area.

Beautiful Sunday morning. Photo submitted by RG58540D667BAEE94A9A on 06/14/2021
Pace of play
I had to get a refund due to the rudeness of the single player in front of us. The staff let a walk on go in front of my wife and I tee time. Then we waited for 10 minutes for this guy to play 4 balls when the rules clearly state one ball. Rules did not apply to this guy. We finally got aggravated and did not get to tee off. I went to the office to ask for a refund and I guess your business would rather give refunds than enforce rate of play. I had a day off and was looking forward to playing a round with my wife who plays this course twice weekly. Really mad about this that you let people break the rules that affect the rest of us who follow rules. Considering not using your course anymore. Just mad right now.
Fun pitch and putt - all tee boxes are mats
Fun pitch and putt. In good shape. Slow greens. Every tee box is a mat and not natural grass, kind of defeats the purpose of a par 3 course. Can’t tune up your wedges hitting off mats. Still a good time for 15 bucks.
Perfect for that short game practice.
Very nice course where you can practice your short game. Nothing above Pitching Wedge should you bring.
An Oasis in the middle of town
This place is like a hidden emerald- always fun for the entire family and the pin placements make it challenging for the most experienced golfers
Sort Game Fun
The course has no hole longer than 110 yards so it is great to work on short iron play. Very good for my daughter who is learning to play and learn how to use irons. Lots of elevation changes makes the course fun and challenging depending on your skill level.
Fun and Quick
I took my son and daughter-in-law who have not played much and it was perfect to get them acclimated to playing on a 18 hole par 3 course that was a great learning course. Fun even if you are not a beginner.
This is a good course.
Good course in the middle of San Diego City. More geared for kids and kid programs. They had Frisbee golf playing at the same time.
The course was very green, well cut and maintained. It is a little hilly- but the holes are all kind of short.
I really enjoyed my time playing golf.
Great short course - ideal for targeted shots or kids
Great time playing colina park with alot of opportunity to focus on your 65 yard and below shots on challenging sloped hills. How close can you get to the pin was the focus of our round instead of just being happy to get on the green. Great place for kids development
High quality short course
High quality grass, aesthetically pleasing, great use of elevation. Friendly staff. The holes average about 70 yards, but there isn’t much more you can ask for in a short urban golf course.
