Colina Park Golf Course
About
Colina Park Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-3 course that has a reputation for having some of the best conditions in the area. The course is an excellent spot for working on your short game. You can leave your driver at home because your wedge and putter will be doing most of the work. The layout is a seemingly short 1,250 yards but it's packed with challenges including more than 10 bunkers, two lakes, and even a few waterfalls. The par 3s range in length from 67 yards to 125. Some of the elevated tee shots can be intimidating and the undulations in the fast greens call for careful course management. Colina Park Golf Club is a course that will test you, no matter what your skill level, and to make it even more appealing, it's also one of the most affordable rounds in the San Diego area.

Sort Game Fun
The course has no hole longer than 110 yards so it is great to work on short iron play. Very good for my daughter who is learning to play and learn how to use irons. Lots of elevation changes makes the course fun and challenging depending on your skill level.
Fun and Quick
I took my son and daughter-in-law who have not played much and it was perfect to get them acclimated to playing on a 18 hole par 3 course that was a great learning course. Fun even if you are not a beginner.
This is a good course.
Good course in the middle of San Diego City. More geared for kids and kid programs. They had Frisbee golf playing at the same time.
The course was very green, well cut and maintained. It is a little hilly- but the holes are all kind of short.
I really enjoyed my time playing golf.
Great short course - ideal for targeted shots or kids
Great time playing colina park with alot of opportunity to focus on your 65 yard and below shots on challenging sloped hills. How close can you get to the pin was the focus of our round instead of just being happy to get on the green. Great place for kids development
High quality short course
High quality grass, aesthetically pleasing, great use of elevation. Friendly staff. The holes average about 70 yards, but there isn’t much more you can ask for in a short urban golf course.
Fun short game course
This course is a lot of fun. For me, I only bring a gap wedge, 54 degree and a putter. great place to work on your 50-100 yard shots. Lots of beginners and youth (which is great). Played behind a group with a 4-yr old! No need to take yourself too seriously here. Staff is friendly and you're usually done in about 2 hours. Give it a shot and have fun.
Good for beginners
Very clean golf course for beginners like me and great to practice short game . Got my first birdie so this place definitely has my heart now .
Good course with a few exceptions…
Overall great course! Staff is friendly and helpful. Course is well maintained and beautiful. Greens were a bit bumpy.
Some areas of improvement. Tee boxes don’t outline yardage and some of the rules aren’t enforced. It’s a “no alcohol” course but there was a group near me that had a speaker playing loud music and they were drinking the whole time. If it’s the course rule, they should enforce. It’s a kid friendly course so those types of rules should be enforced so that you get a round that you expect. Nothing wrong with having a good time but go to a course with that atmosphere if that’s the type of round you are looking for. The course is very compact so you find yourself close to other groups frequently. Pace of play was quicker than I prefer.
Additionally, the parking lot is small so you may end up parked down the street. Location isn’t in the nicest area of town.
I will for sure play again when I can get a deal.
Perfect 1.5 hour par 3
Colina is a great par 3 course to improve your short game, I love the ease of getting in, it is in great condition!
