Restaurant Bar
It just a shame that the restaurant/ bar area doesn’t have more business. Last 2;times there no one was in the place except for the 4 of us. They have all the right things there to have a great venue. Guess they need to have like a 2 for one special on certain beers and mixed drinks at a certain time of the day .
Rough Shape...No Cart Girl
- Course layout was decent
- Greens were dry and damaged
- Tee Boxes in rough shape
- No Beverage Cart
After playing 9 holes in 88°, we didn't see a cart girl once. No water jugs on the course either. At the turn when asked if they had a beverage cart, the Pro Shop said they did but she was nowhere to be found. I highly recommend you bring your own beverages and a cooler.
So So at Best
Not sure what course these other players / reviewers played in May 2022 but this track is in dire need of some serious TLC. Your first clue about the course conditions should be the "practice putting green" adjacent to the parking lot. Brown, worn out, grass that hasn't been mowed in a few days. On the first tee a 6 large patch of 6 inch high crabgrass between the white and blue tees....off to a good start!! Fairways and greens are rock hard. Houdini couldn't stop a sand wedge from 80 yards on these surfaces. Off the fairway looks similar to Cambodia back during the Viet Nam war. Don't even think about looking for a stray tee shot unless you have a snake bite kit, knee high rubber boots and shotgun. The layout if respectable but the course conditions are just horrible. Not worth your time of money. I'm giving it 2 stars only because the people in the pro shop were friendly.

Fun but tough
Played from back tees and course was a good test. All long par threes and pretty tight, the woods lurk just a few yards off fairways. Very good condition, greens held shots and putted true, pretty quick. Good sand in bunker I was in. Good value, other courses in area at similar price are not in as good of shape. Friendly, helpful staff.
Hidden gem
We played this course on route to Daytona, what a delight. Some tight fairways and very fast greens making this course a challenge. A few tee boxes needing work but didn't affect the shots. Would definitely recommend as great value for money.
Challenging
Nice course but a bit of a challenge. Not much room for error on either side of the fairway’s. Greens nice but really fast.

Great Golf
First time playing here. Beautiful course. A little narrow but fun
Good Round of Golf
Course is in good shape the greens are lighting fast but another way to humble yourself in this game.
Bunkers could use some work the cart path a rough as well...
Drove 1.5 hours but pace if play pick up and was I was able to beat the heat.

Challenging course from the blues. Wish I would have played from the whites. Course is in good shape.

Worth the trip
At a time when it seems like many courses in the St. Augustine area are going downhill, I am happy to see Cypress Knoll keeps improving and I will drive from St. A. Fairways, greens, tee boxes all in good condition. Greens very fast but run true. Fairways full of grass instead of dirt/sand. Lot of comments about course being tight. Fairways are not tight, there just isn't much rough if you miss, it will drop into hazard or trees. If you know where your ball is going most of the time when you hit it, enjoy this course!
