Cypress Knoll Golf & Country Club

Had played several years ago before Covid. Was expecting a little letdown as a few of the courses have struggled during this time.

The staff accommodated a special request and were very friendly.

The greens were lightening quick but very fair. Tight on some holes with easy runout into some trouble made it a great challenge.

Only downgrade would be the bunkers. Realizing it is the player who was in before you. They still need a bit of work.

The greens are great. The fairways need a little water and some rain to be really good. ace of play was under 4 hours for a foursome.

keep the driver in the bag for the most part to enjoy your day. It's a tight course but great layout with conditions expected at $40/round. Going back this week

We played on a busy Saturday now that the NE Florida temps are warming up. The course was very busy; however, we played in less than 4 hours. Fast greens, fairways in 80% good shape. This is a course that will make you think on the buffer holes but is also a fun place to play. The staff is very friendly and the food in the restaurant is not highway robbery and taste pretty good.

Greens were spotty at best on front 9 a little better on back. Pace of play was slow and even slower as a twosome jumped in front of us on 10 tee and we didn’t stop from 9 to 10. Walkers should allow cart players to play through on back 9 as it’s a long distance from greens to tees.

Maintenance is not the best at this course and there’s lots of areas where it is dirt as opposed to grass growing and the worst feature is ditches along most fairways where the ball will tend to run unless you are super accurate with your shots. The greens are significantly faster than any Muni you’ve ever played, even faster than some private clubs, so putting is a learned art here. However, you can’t beat the monetary value and since most courses in the area tend to be filled up or overbooked, you can usually get in a round here.

Fun layout that requires some shot making and accuracy. Greens were in great shape and are relatively small. Fairways are okay for the most part. A few bare spots and a few muddy ones as well. It's not Sawgrass but you can play 7 or 8 rounds at cypress knoll and spend the same you'd pay for one round there

Staff was friendly. My only true complaint, no F&B service on Sundays. Not quite understanding the logic behind that.

Course was in good condition. The Greens and fairways were in great condition. After Florida experienced some cold nights and freezing temperatures , it was surprising to see the greens and the rest of course in good condition. The family which owns this GC has been working diligently to get and keep the GC up to these standards. Great job in providing a GC that is maintained and provides value to the golfer.

A couple of back T-blocks left to rejuvenate.
