Needs a little love, rarely see any staff working on the course.
This course has lots of potential to be a very good test of golf. The layout is strong, greens could use some love.
Bunkers have very little sand, need to be maintained at a higher level. Water hazards are dry, not sure if this is a decision by the owners, the other courses in the valley have water hazards.
Everything was good except the sand in the traps is not very good.
This course remains one of our favorites. It is in good shape with med fast greens. The bunkers need some attention (ie not raked but remain playable) The staff are very friendly and the cart girls will always make sure you don't get thirsty. Best buck for online rate anytime.
Great course for first game in Palm Springs
This was our first time to Palm Springs and the first course we played. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful to orient us at the course. It was an easy course to navigate with beautiful views of the surrounding homes and mountains. Great value!
Enjoyable round
Indian Canyon North course is a fun track, usually with great pace of play. Not too difficult, but it has its challenges. The forward tees were welcomed by my wife.
Indian Canyons- North Course
A very nice course with a good layout. The challenges are there so don’t expect to take a way stroll. An older course that has retained its beauty our maybe like fine wine has improved its glory, style and stature. A very excellent choice when wind is forecast for the Palm Springs area. Winds for these two canyon courses are muted. We played a course in the Palm Springs area the Day before and the wind was a problem. Not so with the Canyons courses!!!
Nor worth the money even in prime time.
This course is the ugly step sister to IC-S located directly across the street. It was in rough shape along the hole to hole routes, there are only 3 tee box ball washers on the course, 1-time water hazards have been drained to desert areas, and the edges of the course throughout are unwatered, browned-out or worn to dirt. Staff reported the course loses $$$ for the Agua Caliente tribe, and they do not invest back in it. Large sections of one-time paved cart paths are dirt....We paid way too much to play there; it is a $50 value.

I love this place as I live on the 3rd & 4th holes. Staff is the Best, Views and the History of this Golf Course is amazing. I love the fact that I consider this course as my Back yard.
Gorgeous Course
Beautifully groomed course, tees, and greens. Pace of play was great. Not so difficult that an average golfer would struggle.
Fantastic views of mountain
We golfed early; 4 gals. We had two days of wind gusts and today there was no wind so it made for a perfect morning. Have your bag ready to drop off when you arrive as the pick up guys are efficient. Once you get inside to pay, the lady behind the counter is super efficient at the cash register, answering phones, taking payments, selling coffee and telling us about the apparel sales. Water is available in cups; bring your thermos to fill and water will stay cold. Tee boxes in good shape, some hard for pushing tees in. Found the greens fast, best to bump and roll onto the green for forward and middle flags. The 18th hole was the worst score for everyone as we tried to cut the corner (dogleg left) and ended up in the trees. There are houses lining the fairways but fairways are wide enough to accommodate draws and fades. Slices and hooks will get you into trouble. Rough is thick so choke down. Lots of fairway and green bunkers with packed sand so we avoided taking sand (bounce) with our sand shots. Lots of birdie and par opportunities in our group. After the round the pick up guys will clean your clubs and deliver them to your vehicle. We went to the restaurant across the street; food is good, meal portions are huge so great for sharing.
Old School Gem
Took a wrong turn then went to the South Course pro shop first, so we arrived without time to warm up or get our bearings, but everyone was very helpful and got us on our way. Conditions are excellent these days, with very healthy grass and well maintained greens running average speed, which I prefer. We were a bit wild (long layoff) but only donated one ball so there is enough room to miss on most holes. The Course winds its way through mid century mod homes, mostly w pools and very few fences, so if you like your architecture, you are in for a treat there as well. We paid $40 at 2pm and got around in under four hours so those two boxes got ticked, and the cart guy was extra chipper and helpful for a bonus tick. I will play here again.
