Always a special treat.
I always golf this course when I’m in Palm Springs (from Canada) it’s history with the Rat Pack and movie stars has drawn me here and I always feel good when a play this course no matter my score.
Course is OK
The course is not quite as well kept as a public course back home. Greens were OK but slow. Nothing special other than green grass in February! But not terrible either. Is it worth $75? Probably. In the middle of winter up north. Certainly. There will be better kept courses but for more money. Pace of play (7:50 tee time) was good. 4 hours. Comfortable conditions. Poor traps. But a fair experience.
Great greens and fairways.
Greens outstanding. Smooth and running around 10 plus. Need to work on rest of course. Cart paths terrible. Need to put some money into pro shop and cart paths. Well worth the money.
Value
One of the best values in the Desert. Interesting
layout in an interesting location.
A great under rated course
The old Canyon Country Club Bill Bell designed course is a forgotten gem.
It is only open during the high season and that is a shame. It needs just a little TLC ( sand traps primarily) and it could be back to its former must play status.
The staff is super friendly and the pace of play was just under 4 hours.
I hope the tribal owners realize what a gem they have and invest
Great Course!!!
A great nostalgic Palm Springs course!!! Will definitely play it again.
Lived up to our expectations
Had an enjoyable early am - staff all friendly and helpful. Course is good shape and very scenic.
As a female, it was tough for me as played pretty long.
We were done in 3 hours 45 minutes. :)
Delivered as promised
Greens in very good shape pace of play right on 4 hours as promised. Balance of course in good shape. Lots of water eliminated on course and replaced with waste bunkers which makes the course play a lot easier.
Average Course - Miserable Marshall!
Played with my wife and two other fine guests. We had no issues until Marshall Bully showed up - total lack of decorum and respect. We were not behind and not been the entire day but he asked us why we were standing around in no uncertain terms. I am a decent lifelong golfer with a low handicap - this was unacceptable and upsetting to my wife. There are lots of other golfing options in Palm Springs - we will not be back to this one! Average back and forth course - in decent shape but dated.
Best greens
The title says it, best greens we have run into so far. Quick and true. We are usually not a fan of residential courses but this course offered wide fairways and mostly open approaches to the greens. A few of the former water hazards we played as GUR but overall conditions were excellent. Some bunkers were a bit thin on sand but we are used to white silica so you play what you get.
This place is really cool. Can't beat it for the price.
I love the feel of the old school vibe. I will play here as many times I can when I'm in town. Love it!
Great Course
Came from out of town for a cheer competition and decided to play a round. What a beautiful course. Staff was friendly. Would definitely play here again!
Course was good, but very little for yardage markers on the fairways. First time playing so had to make a lot of shots simply guessing on yardage. Staff were excellent. Chipping and putting facilities were very good.
