The Club at Emerald Hills

Beautiful Course, layout and design are really nice. The weather was not cooperative as it rained off and on throughout, but I will play here again. One of the top 3 courses I've played in Florida and I have played some really nice courses here.

Only 9 holes were open, so you had to play the back nine twice. Cart path only. Fairways were so soggy. A lot of it hadn’t been mowed, and you would lose a ball in 3 inches of mud. course layout is beautiful and challenging, but with these conditions, I wouldn’t go back until it dries out.

Played back 9 solo. Friendly staff, easy check-in. Was not expecting some of the overgrowth on the fairways on at least 3 holes. Made play more difficult. They have posted their undergoing maintenance through October so hopefully that gets cleaned up. Fairly busy on a Saturday at twilight. Pace of play fairly slow but the course yardage is long so you can usually get into a rhythm. Currently playing as cart path only which makes sense with the weather/rain we've had along with current conditions on the course. Note to not be surprised that some of the waterways on the course are utilized by people on fishing boats, kayaks, etc. You'll hit over one of them. Will likely come back.

Fairways and tee boxes haven’t been cut in a while. Losing balls in the fairway. Also from all the rain but definitely other improvements that could be made in a mean time. At least keep the tee boxes in shape. Terrible.

Been playing this course for years and will never play it again. Pace of play was horrendous. I was a single told to start on the back and was stuck behind 4 groups of 4 and all of them were taking 20 minutes a hole I had to leave after being there and hour and a half and only getting 2 holes in. The course could not be in worse condition. The fairway is either dirt or extremely high grass and the greens are in awful condition. Save your money!

They should close the course when it is much damage by the weather. You hit the fairways and you ball is lost under the grass imposible to find.

I definitely don’t think this course should be charging full price for the quality. Half of the greens are in really really poor conditions. The ones that aren’t in poor conditions have some of the fluffiest greens I’ve ever seen. I would say this could would be worth it for $25-$35 but I paid $85 and I’m a little upset.

I have heard such amazing things about this course. I was so disappointed with the conditions of the course. Tee boxes were closed, they had temporary tee boxes much further up which most of the time would take the best parts of the holes away. IE going from a dog leg right over water to just a straight shot no water, shortening holes by 50 yards+ in many cases. On top of that, the temporary, tee boxes were just dirt, it was harder to hit out of the tee boxes than out of the rough. It’s such a shame, because you can tell the course was once a beautiful and tough course. The fairways were in good shape, but once you get to the green, plenty of dead patches and bumps. Green speeds were also extremely inconsistent ranging from super quick to super slow. Overall, I probably won’t be going back again unless there is a huge overall.

5-6 greens have severe damage. Playing from temp tee boxes on every hole. Greens are very slow.

The person in charge of the golf carts was very rude, showed disrespect and very bad manners with us.

Moreover, the course was in bad conditions.

The is usually a great course but the tee boxes are being maintained making it less enjoyable than usual

The staff was very friendly but the course was muddy and they build the regular boxes new...so you have to play a very short course...

In front of us were two guys who played so slow that it takes more than 4 and 1/2 h instead of max 3h...we ask to let us throu...even the Ranger talked with them...but no way....some guys dont know anything...

The golf course was in very pior conditions! All 18 tee are provisional and fairways was very bad and the greens was terrible. The app Golf Now should require fields to put the conditions of the field in detail before payment!

Customer service is excellent. Most of the greens are in good condition. Tee boxes need attention.

Temporary tee boxes on every hole. Some of the greens were in very rough shape. The quality of the course for the price they charge for 18 holes isn’t even close to being okay.
