Was our first time playing this course.

The Good:

The course design

The greens good condition and roll true

Friendly staff

The Bad:

Took almost 5 hours for TWO people to play 16 holes.

Why 16 holes because was too dark to finish due to pace of play being so bad. (Started before 4 pm)

Had multiple groups holding us up, no offer to play through.

Saw the Ranger once who didn’t do anything about the pace.

A group of drunken kids blasted music next to us before every tee then skipped holes in front of us and played into us.

Was truly the worst experience I’ve ever had on a normal course.

So conflicted because I want to play the course again, but the pace needs to be addressed and drunken etiquette policed better.

Course was in pretty decent shape for how much rain there was. Only real complaint was we didn't see the beverage cart all round despite being told we would. Nice course. Value for the money

Car path was not bad because of rain, long, challenging, greens a bit slow but we had a good time, staff very friendly !

Course is in nice shape. Tough a little high. As tough a layout as you can play in Broward County. They said they are going to start getting the greens faster. When they are running fast there are holes where putts can wind up in the water. Worth playing.

I enjoyed playing this very hood course again after many years. The course was in general good shape with just a few tee boxes a little barren. The staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful. I think they should establish an expectation for groups regarding pace of play. The group in front of us did not keep pace and generally slow play that resulted in an almost 5 hour round for us. I think especially for weekend play the Starter and Marshall should better help set expectations for each group of players and push the pace as needed better. Some simple guidelines I’ve seen work at other courses included telling groups how much time they should take for each 9 holes asking the group to have at least one player who pays attention to the pace/time. Unfortunately many players have not a clue about any of this and unintentionally cause unnecessary lengthy rounds that ultimately cause golfers to avoid weekends or certain courses and courses to loose valuable revenue. Courses mgmt should not assume all players know how to set and keep pace or to help maintain the course by sanding divots and fixing ball marks. I personally sand mine and other nearby ones too and same ball marks. I love this game and want to see it be fun and enjoyable for all level of players.

Course was challenging but fun. Played from the tips. Great views. Greens a bit slow, but nice course. Weather was perfect and the staff were pleasant. Food wise the Caesar salad with blackened chicken is a good option as well.
