Never on a Tuesday
We had a 9:30 tee time which the staff member at the front desk told us became a 9:45 tee time. When we went to the caddie master area it was total chaos - lots of golfers ready to play with nowhere to go. Why? The ladies were finishing their shotgun turn after the 18th hole. Our actual tee time turned out to be 10:15, 45 minutes behind schedule. We were the first group out behind the ladies. The last ladies group was two holes behind the group in front of them and who knows how far that group was behind the group in front of them. We had to follow them for 14 holes. Never saw a ranger all day. Apparently, this is a regular ladies outing every Tuesday. Management should offer the ladies a mandatory training session on how to keep up with the group in front of them. In addition, management should explain to the ladies the reason why there are rakes surrounding the sand traps because they apparently don't understand what they are for. We will avoid this course for a while until we hear that they have their act together.
Oaks on 2-16
The Oaks has a nice design... as u would expect from a Fazio designed course. Water lurks but u only get wet with bad shots that deserve the penalty. Greens are pretty good. But the course needs a little more TLC. Tee boxes are uneven and not well mowed. And lies, in general, are super tight. Not an issue so much from fairways or rough on full shots, but annoying for ball to be sitting on virtual hardpan around the greens, making for challenging wedge play.
The price was right
The course was in great shape and very playable.. The price was excellent.
There wasn't a big golf clothes selection and they didn't have the course logo on the shirts if you like getting a memento.
I'm a craft beer man and love having an end of round beer at the end. It was alright from that perspective.
If I was golfing multiple days I wouldn't consider this the highlight course of the golf trip but, I would recommend and play again.
Good test
Excellent test of 2nd and 3rd shot accuracy-fairways are often well open on tee shots, but narrow down to elevated, small, fast greens which are in excellent shape. Lots of out-of-bounds for errant shots.
Fairways in good shape, tee boxes need work.
Practice area requires hitting off mats-ugh!
Pro shop and clubhouse very nice-staff very helpful and friendly.
From the green tees a good test for the average to good golfer.
Very enjoyable round.
Stand j oaks
Really enjoy playing the course I would definitely suggest it to others. The price was a little much
Great shape
This is a nice course and is a good test all around for your game from any set of tees. Wide Fairways and big greens were in very good shape. Surprisingly for this time of year in south Florida the rate was very good and as a twosome we played early and encountered no traffic and finished in under 3 hours. Friendly staff and a very good experience overall. Recommended.
Has been better
The course has been in better shape but it is still reasonable value. Not too many people out there as it was pretty windy
Nice course
A basic layout but it was a fun resort type course. Friendly staff but I didn't find a a dining area. Pace was slow for a few holes because I got caught behind a couple of slow players. After 4 holes they let me play through. Finished in three hours.
Good for price
Condition of the course is good ,rough is penal in morning because of the wet, but fairways are fair
Good price for the Oaks
Great weather, good pace, and course was in good shape except for the greens were being worked on. Does impact potentially good putts.
Santiago's Review
My Tee time was st 8:08 AM on Saturday. I got there 45 minutes earlier. Because of been weekend and that I was a solo player I thought that I was going to put with a group of two or three players. Instead I played solo behind a foursome. Glad that they were corteous to let me play in front of them. I would have preferred to play in a group. Anyway, I enjoyed my practice round. The greens were sandy and a little bumpy because of recently aeration. Hopefully, next time I will have better luck and the greens will be in better shape...
Best Greens in the area
Decent layout but the greens were perfect. They ran about a 10 and rolled very true. The staff always goes over and beyond for great customer service. Above average course for the money and conditions. I would recommend this course to anyone in the area.
Nice Day
Good course and staff.I played the Oaks, they have two others.
Afternoon Play
Sprinklers came on during play on 6th hole 7th, 8th, & 9th greens were really wet as well making putting consistency difficult
Good play for the money
Quite enjoyed the course, the staff and the experience. Course was in pretty good shape. Greens were firm but fair and rolled very well. Bunkers were a little rough and could use a little TLC but were playable. Staff was great and the pace was excellent. Will most definitely return!
Nicely Balanced Course
The course was in good condition considering it was the end of our "busy" season locally. Tee boxes and fairways were well-kept and the greens, though hard from lack of rain, rolled true and were free of any blemishes. I like this course as it's varied fairway structures allow me to use more clubs in my bag than standard, "bomb/pitch/putt", courses common in largely flat-land locations like this.
nice course if you like getting bit by ants all over the place!!
