Very Good Course
Course is in good shape, greens were fast, held high shots well. Good variety in the holes. Some challenging holes. Was slow - would have appreciated seeing a marshal, drink cart showed up reularly
Pace and Conditions not good!
Not inclined to return again. The tee boxes very uneven with patches of grass and dirt, fairways decent as were greens. Pace of play about four hours, unacceptable, and paired with another couple that had us playing three different tee boxes. The starter we had, as before, wish I knew his name, is excellent. Efficient, professional and very nice.
In memory of a decent public course
As a local, in the profession, and long-time patron, I’ve played here consistently for years—often multiple times per week, including through the slower summer months. The convenience and accessibility have always made it an easy place to get out and play.
Over time, however, the pace of play and overall tee sheet management have noticeably declined. It often feels like the course is stretched beyond a comfortable capacity, which takes away from what used to be a much more enjoyable and predictable experience.
That said, I want to personally recognize and thank Tom, Jeff, and Andrew on the outside staff, along with Juan behind the bar. They are the primary reason I’ve continued to come back over the years. Their professionalism, work ethic, and consistent positive attitude do not go unnoticed. They represent the course extremely well and create a welcoming environment that keeps locals like myself returning despite other pitfalls by management.
As someone who works in the golf industry, I understand how challenging public course operations can be. I hope the facility continues to support and retain staff like them, as they are a tremendous asset and make a meaningful difference in the overall experience. However, with the recent state of events and management, I can no longer continue to support Palm Aire CC.
Good course condition
They overseeded with rye this year. Corse much better playing condition. Greens were a little sole this week!
Was OK but pace was really slow
Good conditions except 2 or 3 tee off. Nice layoff but pace was painfull
Teed off late: horrible pace
5.5 hr round. Teed off 15 after tee time due to backup on 1
Ok for the price
As usual theuy were short of carts when we got in and had to wait to the last minute to get our carts.
Great course.
While the course was great, Ifor as busy as it was, I would have thought a beverage cart would have been employed. The clubhouse it NOTright the turn(s) happen making a bathroom break or beverage stock up easy
A great round today
The course was in great shape, The greens seemed hard so you had to get used to that but they were true to putt on. I have played this course before and today was extremely enjoyable. Staff was gracious form the time I sign in through to tee off.
Really nice course
I really enjoyed this course was in pretty good shape and fun holes.
Cypress
Course has a nice layout. Conditions were not very good. A lot of the greens were in bad shape. Fairways were sparse.
Spend your $$$$ somewhere else
9:10 tee time, they were so backed up we didn’t tee off until 9:40…
Round toke over 5hrs, course conditions were horrific especially for $90. I wouldn’t pay over $25 to play there!
Find another course!!!!
A public course
We played Cypress. It is a public course. Bit beat up, but overall fun to play.
Great layout but not great course conditions
Cypress course has very nice layout, staff and rate. Not so great course conditions though. Seems like course has gone downhill since I played last year. Greens and fairway in good condition but not the tee boxes and lots of brown spots and dead grass off of fairway and behind greens. With all the rain we have had this summer and fall this course should have been in better shape. Like most courses with potential, a little more attention and care, could be a great place to play.
