Fun track, challenging
The Palm Aire Cyprus was a good track. Course layout was fair for average hitters. If you keep the ball in play you can score well.
The bag drop area and cart loading area outside the pro shop as very disorganized. Lots of people, carts everywhere and in disarray, not obvious to a new player that the starting hole for Cyprus is across the road. I think they were grossly understaffed. Starter at the Cyprus course was super nice and made up for the mess up by the clubhouse.
When the round was over, nobody there to take your clubs for outbound players.
Overall a good day and these things would not detract me from playing there again.
I' m not recommending this course simply because that take hours and hours to play there. One shot every 15 minutes dosn't make easy to score and to have fun.
Golf is supposed to be played in max 4:00 hours not more.
Definitely need marshall to make sure that people respect what need to be done.
People going true the tee off with their golf cart and even on the green is absolutely unacceptable.
I don't understand why you don't have more supervision of what is going on the course with these people that don't respect the course and the rules.
Where was the Ranger Saturday????
8:12 tee time,. After 2 1/2 hour front nine where we were waiting on every shot, we called clubhouse to complain and ask for a ranger. Was told course was packed.. On # 12 , we determined the group 2 groups in front of us was at least 2 holes behind the group in front of them. We decided to skip 12 and 13 in order to jump in front of the offenders. We never saw another group, so the slow pokes were 4 holes behind the pace. Where was the ranger, and why didn’t anyone on staff realize something was not right when there was a gap of over an hour between the 7:50 tee time finishing and the next group finishing. We finished in 4 hours but only played 16 holes. The groups behind us and therefore everyone else finished in over 5 5 hours.
Overload
The course was totally overloaded. We had 2 foursomes at 1:16/1:24…..at almost 6:00 we left with 2 holes remaining. No marshals all day even after calling pro shop who had promised to send a “ranger”. Very disappointing day!
Great course, great value, poor pace
Course in excellent condition presenting both challenges and enjoyment for all level golfers. Unfortunately due to the crunch of players with fewer courses available, pace becomes an issue. Be prepared for a five hour round at any time.
Kudos to the maintenance staff for keeping the course in great shape despite the frequency of play.
Nice course
Nice course in good shape, pace was slow because of so many people! Went on as a single and whooped the bejesus of the other 3 guys I was paired with so that made it better!!! Would recommend this course to anyone.
