Horrible conditions. Horrible staff.
Do not waste your money here. The fairways were beaten up and not taken care of. The greens are worse. The greens are torn up, have weeds, and have large dirt and sandy parts. Either they cannot afford staff to take care of the course or they don’t care. I would imagine they don’t care because their clubhouse staff is ignorantly rude. First time I tried calling them to ask a question the person who answered was rude. I tried calling the next day and Mike could have take 5 seconds to answer my question but instead said we’re closed and hung up on me. Until management starts to handle their staff I would recommend playing literally anywhere else.
NEVER AGAIN
I never liked this course, but only one I could find on our last day of golf. Just don't like the layout and will never play it again. Very slow group in front of us, made for a terrible experience.
Horrible Pace of Play
This was my second time playing the cypress course. I’ll start with the course conditions as it is in decent shape. Fairways were nice, decent tee boxes, greens are not perfect but fair. However the pace of play was so bad. Easily a 5 hour round. Tee time was at 10:04 and there were 3 groups waiting to tee off by the time we got to the first hole. By the third hole it was so backed up there was a 25 min wait for one hole. Called the pro shop, they didn’t really care. Enjoy the course but can’t deal with a round like that. Definitely would avoid during this time of the year.
Nice Layout
First time playing at Cypress. We really liked the course layout. Starter was friendly. Greens were extremely fast ! Like that ! Pace of play was good at times then we would get backed up on a couple Par 3s . Would definitely come back again and recommend it to anyone that would ask ! Dave
Fun track, challenging
The Palm Aire Cyprus was a good track. Course layout was fair for average hitters. If you keep the ball in play you can score well.
The bag drop area and cart loading area outside the pro shop as very disorganized. Lots of people, carts everywhere and in disarray, not obvious to a new player that the starting hole for Cyprus is across the road. I think they were grossly understaffed. Starter at the Cyprus course was super nice and made up for the mess up by the clubhouse.
When the round was over, nobody there to take your clubs for outbound players.
Overall a good day and these things would not detract me from playing there again.
I' m not recommending this course simply because that take hours and hours to play there. One shot every 15 minutes dosn't make easy to score and to have fun.
Golf is supposed to be played in max 4:00 hours not more.
Definitely need marshall to make sure that people respect what need to be done.
People going true the tee off with their golf cart and even on the green is absolutely unacceptable.
I don't understand why you don't have more supervision of what is going on the course with these people that don't respect the course and the rules.
