Cranky Unorganized Staff
I showed up about 30 minutes before my tee time The clerk at the front desk was unfriendly. He said I didn’t have enough time to hit any balls. Then I went out to try to get my car. I waited for 20 minutes to get the cart.
The greens were in so-so shape. There was not enough sand and the bunkers. Luckily I was playing with some nice partners and one who had to play Ed the course before. But based on the treatment by the staff I would never go back and play here again.
Average course but fun
Layout was pretty good. Middle of fairways were in good shape but everywhere else was in rough shape. Greens were good, a little quick. Tee boxes were a mess. We were a foursome and took 5 hrs. Groups were stacked in front of us. Note it's spring break here now....
Pace of play and no ranger
2 hours and 45 minute front nine
No ranger
Just pump them out
Sandwiches after 9 took so long we had to cancel
Return to Cypress
The course was in decent shape. Greens were rolling nicely and were in good shape. Some areas were being top dressed and plugs on greens were being treated.
Nice layout, fair, water in play but not an overabundance of hazards to cross.
Worth playing, but 8 minute tee times can make it back up quickly, play early if possible
HAPPY GOLFER
Overall the course was in good shape. We were paired with two other golfers and the round was played in approximately 4 hours. The course conditions were good but the greens were in need of some attention.
The clubhouse was good as was the bar and food offered.
