Cypress at Palm-Aire Country Club

I haven’t played the course in at least 15 years. I believe they stopped maintaining it the last time I played. The tee boxes, fairways and greens were awful. Even the scary paths needed work. A complete disappointment. The only positive was pace of play (but now Ii know why) .

Course was in a pretty good condition. Pace of play was awesome. Would definitely come back and play again

Glad I could make a last minute tee time here since Davie Golf Club only has 9 holes open... The staff here was very nice! No practice facility open yet. Course is not in bad condition at all. Greens are a little slow but it has been raining a lot. Played with a nice group of people. Pace of play was a little slower than usual but nothing out of the ordinary. Tee Boxes on the back side of the course need to be in better shape and cut lower. Good track and will play here again!

My mom came down from Central Florida to play. We got stuck behind a 4-some who wouldn't let us play through. We ended up getting rained out on #9. We spoke to the gents at the Clubhouse and asked for a raincheck. They refused because we booked via GolfNow. It was frustrating and lacked customer service. We won't be back.

The only bad thing was they had a lot of lawn maintenance people around the whole course. And only a small handful of the maintenance workers would move (greens too) while you were trying to play through

The course wasn’t in great shape for being shut down for covid. Like a lot of courses in the area were, but used the time to upgrade. There was a ton of maintenance crew out cutting the grass during play. Greens were in decent shape.

Played the Oaks course. Greens were fast. Fairways were pretty lush.

Played for the second time in 3 days. Course is in good shape on the fairways. Greens are a bit bumpy. Lots of wildlife. Played as a twosome in 3 1/2 hours.

Extremely good value, first and foremost. Greens are in great shape; they’re firm, fast, roll relatively true. Fairways are also quite good. The course layout provides a “fun” challenge for any golfer. It’s relaxed, yet demands precision. Considering it’s the closest course to the ocean (20 minutes from A1A & Oakland Park), I will now consider myself a regular.

Can’t go wrong with this one!

I am actually playing and have time for this review. Awful check in experience. Waiting for a cart then rushing you out. Overbooked so very slow play. Course condition of Cypress is poor also. I would absolutely not recommend for any golfer of any level.

This was the first time played. Tee boxes were beat up but the greens were good but slow. Course was fairly open for us duffers.... if you google the Palm Aire golf course only it will take you to the Palms course which is a mile from the Oaks & Cypress Course’s. I went as a single and a great group...

Les conditions de terrain étaient excellentes , beaucoup d’eau et de trappes de sable . Le seul point négatif sur certains trous les maisons sont un peu proches mais ça nous force à jouer droit .

We played several other courses in Pompano Beach this week. Without a doubt, Cypress was our favourite. Good grass coverage on fairways and excellent greens. We will be back!
