Slow pace course
I played on Thursday afternoon. The parking lot was packed, with very limited space available. Carts had to be shared—no solo carts allowed. On one of the par-3 holes, there were four groups waiting to play, leading to an extremely slow pace overall.
There were many beginners on the course, with several groups hitting multiple balls or giving lessons during play. While there was a marshal present, they didn’t seem to manage the flow, likely because the course was already overcrowded.
We ended up waiting at every single hole. This was my first time playing at Dad Miller—and unfortunately, it will also be my last.
Dad miller
Course is awesome it was just over booked! There was 15 people at one point on the same hole. Plus there was people stealing balls! I lost about 9 balls because people kept taking them!
Fun Course
First time playing here. Pace was great until we hit the par 3's on the back. It was a weekend, so the pace of play was expected. The course was in great shape and a fun layout.
Good for money worth
Overall, the course was well maintained, well hidden from city.
Wonderful golf course. Terrible staff.
I've been playing this golf course for more than 20 years and I love the layout and play-ability of the course.
It is maintained really well. The golf course is a lot of fun and the pace of play is ok and depends on the weekend traffic.
There are two drivable par 4s and two reachable par 5s with great tee shots.
The course is also quite challenging in certain areas where OB, water hazards and bushy creeks come into play.
My main gripe this time around were the three kids behind the counter at check-in who didn't acknowledge when I came into the golf shop and continued to talk to each other while I waited to pay for my round.
I had to wait for at least a minute before I could check in and pay. It was highly disrespectful and I even tapped my credit card on the counter in disgust and they still ignored me.
Instead of getting an attitude and saying something, I decided to wait and pay for my round so I would not take that negative energy onto the course,
Hire older, respectful individuals who know how to deliver proper customer service and keep these three, young (male) manner-less individuals out of the clubhouse.
They are the front-facing element of Dad Miller and are taking our money. We don't need the disrespect before our round. Hire better individuals.
Where to Start
Tee time was at 416pm. Arrived and was told they were 30-45 behind of the tee times. Meaning I would would be teeing off at 5pm. All mainly because they had no carts available, no truly the issue. The guy at the front said if I walked I could join the next group. Luckily I had my push cart. Started playing at 445pm. No ball washers, no Marshall, and horrible pace of play. Hole 7 had 4 groups waiting, took 35 min to actually tee off. Paid for 18 holes barely finished 9 at 745pm.
Appreciate you Dad (Miller)
Not a round with my father but had a great time at Dad Miller! Teed off at 525am, finished in 307. Great value. This is just golf, nothing special but the service was nice. Greens rolled true and tee boxes were even and well maintained. Will come back.
Slow Pace
Lots of newbies. Balls flying everywhere. Players cutting holes, slowing everything down. I was frustrated and left after hole 10.
This place should not let people start from the back 9. Otherwise fairway condition is ok. Green is nice and flat. Good bunkers. Probably won't come back unless they have field marshals.
Fun course to walk
Never once disappointed while playing this course. Been playing this course for years always in good condition.
