Horrible
This place is terrible. It takes awhile to find a ball that you hit it the fairway because the grass is so tall. The course is narrow and has so many branches laying all over the fairway. It was $123 for two people and I can’t believe I spent that much on it. Green fees are overpriced. Would not recommend. Overall -163892/10

Sad course
Heartbreaking to see this course in such shabby condition. Used to be a great golf outing with super fun holes & layout but obviously the owners are sucking it dry and not putting any funds into maintenance AT ALL. If you’re a beginner and don’t care about conditions, have at it but it's no bargain at a $65 price tag on weekends.

Worst conditions ever
I have never played on a course in such rough shape. Read the reviews. They are not exaggerating the conditions. This place looks like it has been abandoned. The girl behind the counter in the pro shop I think might work at the DMV also with her level of friendly ness.
Save your money play somewhere else. I will never be back.

Over Priced
At $65 bucks this is a rip off. This layout is great, but the lack of maintenance is apparent from the first tee box. They don’t water the course and the greens, having full swing divots on them, are running at about 7.5 or 8. I played here a couple times before but will never play here again. Don’t waste your money

Shocking course. Don’t waste your money!
Firstly, they ran out of carts saying that 21 of them needed to be fixed. The course itself is very unkept and the greens have huge boulders in them. The staff were not at all helpful and the amenities were non existent. This course opened up in the mid 1900’s and honestly it looks like no one has looked or bothered to look after it. I won’t be back here again!

A lost gem
Used to love this course for it's challenging layout and good condition. Now there's no grass on the fairways and most greens have serious holes and dead spots. I won't be back, which is sad.

Shame
The overall layout and scenery is so nice but the course has been sorely neglected. Doesn't seem any renovation and very little maintenance has happened since 1948. Shame.

If the course where in shape was one of the best ones in San Diego it a shame the condition is very challenge is over price now

Better than the Recent Reviews
Clubhouse Staff - Young man in the morning and Young lady in the afternoon were very friendly. No sand in bunkers - not unlike other courses - I just played it as ground under repair. Tee boxes and fairways were adequate. Greens were rough in patches, but still puttable.

Not worth the money you have to pay!
This course has to be the worst I have ever played. For $55 it was not worth it. The course layout is nice but the conditions were very bad. I would play a muni course before I play here again.

Horrible course conditions
The course was by far the worst conditions i’ve ever played and was not worth the price despite being a lower cost course.... Would never return unless the entire course was redone
