Course is fun. Not a bad layout. It's just in BAD shape right now. Greens look like bombs went off on them.

This once beautiful golf course has been left to ruin. Dry, rock hard fairways, overgrown or barren rough, diseased greens. A shame. A well designed course with beautiful backdrops, surrounded by what once were grand trees. Someone needs to invest in this property. Until then, don’t waste your time or money.

The course layout is good, but the conditioning and maintenance are pretty ragged. Dove 70 miles to play there, the pictures online are obviously from decades ago. very disappointed, left after 9 holes.

Greens were terrible, try putting through a mine field! Overall condition was awful and not worth $55....never played a course in such bad shape

We had a group that would play CC every Saturday. It was never in great condition, but you had decent fairways, grass underf your ball in the rough and the greens were well kept and true.

I played today -- oh dear! This course is a mess. Almost every green had mold spots everywhere. The fairways weren't fair. The rough was either overgrown or barren. The traps -- they had workers raking the traps -- but they were more dirt than sand. It was in pitiful condition.

The starter was friendly. The guy in the clubhouse didn't give a hoot. The bathrooms were hideous and the men's was totally closed. They used to have a good bar and grill -- it is closed. No outside service. They have coolers in the proshop with drinks and pre-made sandwiches. No variety whatsoever.

If you are looking to hack it around for a really cheap price ($35), this might be your place. The whole experience was uninspiring. Sorry to see this course, which is a good layout, has gone so significantly downhill.

This used to be a GREAT course to play. I hadn't played the course in a few years. The greens were in HORRENDOUS shape. I was stunned. Will never return. What has happened to golf courses in Escondido? The Vineyards was equally HORRENDOUS. Especially, the bunkers.

I was so sad to play such a great course in terrible sad shape! this course could be great but see the condition of the greens. Too bad, the people were nice but the price I paid to play here was robbery!

It had been a couple of years since I played this course. I was so disappointed, not so much the overall fairways but the condition of the greens.

I hope they do some real maintenance on them and soon.

They should be ashamed that the charge $48.00 for this course. ALL the greens are in horrible shape. Would never play this course again.

The course layout is good, but that is about it. Several greens were unputtable, fairways had uneven grass. Played the course 20 years ago and still in poor shape. Spend some money or close the course.

I’ve played this course over 10 times and have never seen it in this bad of shape. In fact some of the greens were not even put able. It was a $40 round but still it almost as if they don’t care anymore. I had a great time only because I had some friends and we just made a fun day drinking but never again. This course just need to finally shut down for good.

What a horribly kept course. I have golfed a dozen different course in the last 3 months and well over 50 in the last several years. I have never experienced anything this bad.

The Greens were horrible, not just a few of them, nearly all of them.

Tee boxes in rough shape? where does that happen?

Fairways were manageable bet still in poor condition, and rough was basically dirt and unkept patches.

This course has the gall to charge $55 dollars for what? we complained to the pro shop and they wanted nothing to do with it or even offer an apology?

I am sure this was a great course at some point - but it is horrific now, I can''t believe people pay to play here.
