We should have known that something was amiss when we pulled into the parking lot at 7:30 AM to see two cars in the lot. Door was locked and the course was opening at 8 AM - never saw that before as normally a course will have had about 1.5 to 2 hours of tee times already on the course.

No driving range - just a ripped up screen to hit a ball in - not sure if the ball would not rip through the screening. NO putting green.

Carpeting in the pro shop might be the original shag carpeting from 1948. I am pretty sure I saw remants of a spagetti dinner that was in the shag carpeting from 2016. When we asked the guy working the register if we were a two-some, he laughed a bit and said "Yeah". That should have been another dead give away.

No tee signs on any holes to tell you what hole you are driving up to. Causes a problem in areas with tee boxes in the same area. Tee boxes are awful - not cut with very high grass on them in clumps. To say that they have a gopher hole problem is an understatement - I can estimate 2000-3000 of them. If you remember the scene from the movie Caddy Shack when Carl Spackler (Bill Murray) turns on the sprinkler system and he sees all the geysers shooting up water, that is about right here.

Grass is green due to the rain but you cannot tell what is fairway and what is rough. Greens are small and if you put a stimp meter on them, they might roll at a 6. Grass on the greens should not be blowing in the wind with a mild breeze. Club house is something out of The Shining - I was waiting for little Danny to be running from Jack Nickelson with an axe in his hands. This property is a perfect scenario to see someone like Leather Face from Texas Chain Saw Massacre running through the holes as an additional hazzard.

No sand in the bunkers - this saves on investing in rakes.

There are a few good layout holes but they are so poorly conditioned, your only goal is to finish without breaking an ankle.

The course was in such bad shape I could not play for fear of injuring myself,. The grass in the fairways was uncut and uneven. You can tell they have done nothing to keep this course up. . The course was a mess and the greens were terrible. You should not offer this course on your site. I am asking for a refund!

I've played this course since 1971 and it used to be terrific. Now it is mostly dirt with a little grass. Zero maintenance is being done and no upgrades. It will close soon I'm sure as there is no one there and there shouldn't be. So sad to see a great course go to seed.

I have played here on and off since 1998. I really used to enjoy the Sunday brunch and restaurant. yesterdays booking, noon on a Friday........there was only 3 to 4 other cars in the parking lot and there was nobody behind us for the afternoon. Upon arrival, I thought that the place was closed as it is truly looking now was like a ghost town. I have always enjoyed the play here, it was once very well kept but now it is truly in desperate repair. Greens were either not playable or were a 20 ft. target ring in the former grass. Holes not marked and debris everywhere. There is no fairway grooming, lost balls under leaves and a weed farm and ground squirrel mounds EVERYWHERE. God, someone, please resurrect this golf course.

I have no intentions of playing here again anytime soon. Should have checked the feedback before my booking on this one. My buddy berated me the whole round about why I booked this venue. And yet, in humiliation I surrendered and I paid for his round.

Virtually no one playing the course, which was in horrible shape. Fairways were green but pure sand a quarter inch below the surface. Better pick the ball cleanly.

Couldn’t use the restroom at the turn because the clubhouse was locked up tighter than a drum.

When we finished the clubhouse was still locked but one guy had arrived to put the cart away in the cart shed behind the first tee.

Bizarre. I’d be curious to hear their business plan.

Osama Alkasabi This is the piece of crap that owns this “course” that is obviously a tax shelter. Find him on social media and tell him to SELL! Go make more money off our high gas prices and leave the golf industry.

I used to play the course 20 years ago and loved it. I still like the layout bot the grass is nearly gone and greens are really bad with dry spots with no grass all over. I would sure like to see someone restore this course. If they did I would play it frequently

In fairness, I did not play on the day that I had reservation. I arrived at the course about 40 minutes before my tee time, thinking that I will hit a small bucket of balls to warm up. When I walked into the clubhouse, the attendant stated that I should take a cart and go look at the course before I pay for the round. He told me that once I pay, he cannot refund the fee. I thought this was rather peculiar, as I had never been asked to do this on any other course I have ever played. I took them up and went to look at first couple of holes and came right back. I am not sure why golf now with the list as course their site or why, the course would even claim that they are open for business. Interestingly, there was a Marshall with a BB gun and pellets to shoot at squirrels. You can’t even called us a Golf Course! To say that course is in disarray would be an understatement!

I’ve never wrote a review on Golf Now but this course is the worst course I’ve ever paid in my life nowhere anywhere was there a Golf shot? Everything was weeds dirt no grass unplayable do not recommend this to anybody. The course should pay the players to play on this course so bad.

Course is not maintained. Hard to find your ball in the fairway. Tumbleweeds on some fairways, mostly just dirt.

The greens are in fair shape. That's it. Everything else is atrocious. Clubhouse is a single small room with a barely functional bathroom. You can purchase chips or packaged cookies, etc. Grounds are littered with branches and debris. Tees and fairways are mostly weeds, dirt and ruts. Occasional small islands of grass that is 6-8 inches deep. Rough is higher weeds and deeper ruts. No markers telling which hole you're on. No waste baskets, ball washers, or yardage markers. No sand in traps (but a rake in one or two). An aging billboard on the road leading in says it was voted 3rd best course in the county. Must've been in 1923.

Needs to be taken off. Would love a refund. Loss 5 balls in the middle of the fairway

This course shouldn’t be listed on line at all. I really upset you guys listed on line. Take this course out please.
