Prepare to play on dirt
If you for some reason decide to pay money to play here, please be prepared to hit off dirt, mulch, and dead grass for every shot. Tons of potential, but seems like there is 0 effort being put in to make it better. Until there is, you couldn't pay me to play here again.

90% DIRT GREENS SUCKED.

Priorities
The good news: They have brought the greens back to "fair to good" and are playable. They have increased watering to include many fairways. They have started to make basic improvements to tee boxes.
The bad news: Before wasting time/water/money on fairways, you need to do some tree work. You are putting the cart before the horse. Every pine needs to be thinned. Every eucalyptus needs to be reduced by 30% so that the tree can be healthy and deliver water to it's branches. There are dozens of dead trees, fallen branches, even dangerous conditions because these trees have not been properly cared for in 20 years. The debris dropped by these trees is acidic to the soil and a huge nuisance to a good game of golf. When a large branch does break, you drag it over to the sides of the river banks rather than dispose of it properly. Take it all over near the black tee box on 16 and hire a wood chipper once a month to make some mulch you can use in so many areas. Other branches have grown to block classically good golf shots, making it frustrating to good players that will not return. Taking care of the trees (drastically) is the first step you should take to bringing up the course condition. It will help the tree and the grass below it. Such a move would provide incentive for folks to come back that have given up on this course. Hire a professional company like Davey Tree to make a dramatic impact. There are also so many areas near tee boxes and greens that would benefit greatly from the simple use of a weed whip, a rake and a blower. I only wish 1 person that worked here played golf and could see it through a golfers eyes and, most importantly, have the authority to do the right thing.
So while the recent efforts are appreciated, the course will remain unplayable for many simply due to tree neglect causing so many other issues.

Needs emergency TLC
This used to be such a wonderful golf course in it’s day but
Now its so far gone I don’t believe the owners will ever bring it back. Would I play it again… yes — playing it off the hard ground instead of grass is fun and challenging, greens are in great shape though.

They let this course go.
Used to play here a couple years ago, before it was a normal thing to pay $65 for a round here. Anyways everything is pretty much dead, your fairways consist of dead grass and dirt. This is the whole time and not a couple holes. Greens are in great condition surprisingly, I only played here because I got a hot deal for $18.99. Not sure what the course is going through and/or if there is a change of hands between owners. This place desperately needs help or it looks like it’ll be closed forever if it passes the point of no return.

Worst golf course I have ever played
Course was in horrible condition. Only grass was on the greens, and those look like they have not been mowed in a week. Owners should be sued for false advertising when you look at their website.

Close this course
This course needs to be totally redone. The fairways are more brown and patchy than green. The tees are no more than mounds of dirt. This course needs a MAJOR facelift or just close it down.

They’ve given up
The course looked like a desert all the fairways was dirt and dead grass. All of them. I would not have played if I hadn’t already paid. I felt ripped off.

Unique challenge
We quit playing this course a couple of years ago when the greens became unplayable. They were half dirt, half weeds, virtually unputtable.It is a different story now as the greens are healthy and smooth although a bit slow the day we played.
The rest of the course is obviously getting no water, probably the future of golf in the west. If you don't geek out on course conditions and play winter rules we actually had fun. A different kind of challenge to be sure.
One suggestion, the fairways are so bright yellow it is hard to see white golf balls, so colored balls might be a good idea.

Don’t do it
I’m quite certain this golf course is closed and there’s just a random guy sitting in there taking money to see who will show up. This is the worst conditions I’ve ever experienced on a golf course. The only plus was finding random balls in the middle of fairway because the white balls blend in with the white-ish sand / dirt covered “fairway”.
