Gem of a course
great day for a round of golf. early morning, to beat the heat. narrow. beautiful. a little muddy in some areas, but overall a great round. friendly staff.
Beautiful weather and nice cool breeze
Coming from the Palm Springs area this is a great change of pace as far as the weather is concerned. We loved the layout and the woodsy atmosphere and the overall friendliness of the staff was excellent. The greens were beautiful but soaking wet. It felt like walking on a wet sponge. My socks were soaking wet. We would love to play this course again but I will bring a different pair of cleats.
Excessively Poor Conditions
In addition to course being poorly kept, they charge an additional $3 Moore to the $35 you agreed on Golf Now.
I will never play there again, not only because of the money, but it just doesn’t feel right.
The Old Colony
The staff member/starter/check in guy was terrific and friendly. The course could use some work thought. But overall we all have a wonderful experience.
Friendly Golf Course
If you are having a rough golf patch, this is the right course to get off that funk. Short course and golfer friendly. A lot of par 4s are only like 280-325 yards long. I typically golf in the low 90s. I got in the 80s easily. I shot an 85. Par 3s are very reachable too. No 180+ yard par 3s. Par 5s are round savers. Easy to reach in 3 and if you can hit it long, you can get on in two with room to spare. If you usually need a 3 wood to get on the green in two, you’ll need a 5 or 7 in some Par 5s. Fun course. Great for beginners. Greens are well manicured.
Only down Side to this course is they didn’t have golf carts ready so we had to wait an hour after our tee time to tee off. Don’t thinks that’s a normal thing though. Great course to play and great price. Only giving it a 3 star because it felt like an executive course, fairways were a little rough and the golf cart situation.
Great day of golf
The fairways where in good shape, the greens were in the best shape I've seen had a lot of fun, there is a par 3 with a pond as the hazard very exciting .
Poor Management
Booked a t time and showed up to chaos. No system to check people in other than one guy standing behind a card table with a very long line. Found out they way overbooked and had no carts and no idea when they would have any available. Punted and went down the road to play another course. Very poor run operation.
Course too crowded
It took 2.5 hours to play front nine due to overcrowding of the course. Walking players were allowed in between scheduled tee times with players with cart.
Surprising nice for the price!
Played here 6/30/2020, and a huge difference than last time. Greens are in great shape, fairways are decent, and tee boxes are hit or miss. Definitely worth the price. Very short par 70 course, but overall a great round of golf and would definitely okay again!
Great Local Course
Great course! Greens are in great shape. A couple were a little over watered and spongy. Love the layout and strategic composition of the fairways. I haven’t hit the course since 2014 and great job extending some of the tee boxes, it made it more challenging and fun. We will see you again more regularly.
DO NOT PLAY HERE!!!!!
this course is great for those of you who like to wait more than you like to golf... course always only has one staff member charging people in the pro shop and cleaning the carts. the 1:30 tee time didnt tee off until 1:58 causing 5 groups to be in a line on the first tee box.
Tough course, great clubhouse staff.
This course was challenging at every hole. Went out with my family. The clubhouse staff were great. One of them even bought my son some Spider-Man golf balls with his own money. Wish I knew his name but very cool gesture! Thanks for a great day!

Lay up
If you like laying up and blind fairways, this is for you. Great turf. All grass. Great greens
Good Value.
This is far from the nicest course you will play, but considering the cost and their friendly personnel, I consider it one of my go-to’s. It has no driving range, but some of the best courses in Pebble Beach don’t either. Their new management is doing a lot to improve the course condition, and it shows.
