General Old Golf Course

Had a blast!! Course is in way better shape than I’ve been told and read about!! Will most likely play here again in the future!!

Greens as usual awesome! Course Iin ok shape. Rough a little dirt and heavy weeds. Still for the money love this course!

Tee time start of 10:19 was late by 20 mins. After a painful 3-hour long front nine, I quit, The course is fairly wide open and relatively easy - no reason for the slow play. No sign of marshals anywhere on course. Also allowed 5-somes to go out.

First time Play this course I had driven by it many times and I said I was going to play. My wife my friend and myself all enjoyed herself and I’m looking forward to playing another several rounds here at least. No employees are very friendly and helpful and that always makes a good experience I would recommend this course to all my friends to go try out. A little dry but that is understandable for the conditions we are doing with in today’s situation but it was never hurt experience there.

I went in Monday morning after being told I would be the first tee out (solo player). I get to the first tee and there’s a foursome already teeing up. They were nice and let me play ahead. I hurry to get out of their way just to find a 3 some at the green. Smh. So I wait and one hole later they let me play ahead. After that I moved fairly quick, nice straight forward holes. Finish front nine and SURPRISE!!! People Playing the back nine. I get that ppl are out and everyone has a certain pace but Jesus Christ , some ppl are ridiculous. Not the course fault for the way they play but they’re at fault for letting them play ahead of others that are out before them. Aside from the very slow players, the course is well taken care of and worth the 38 bucks. Would recommend as long as you’re vocal to slow players to let you play ahead or to hurry TF up. Lol

Fairways and areas around the green require maintenance, seeding, etc

It has been awhile since I played this course. The fairways were in extremely poor condition. It looked like no care was given, no reseed, no water. The greens were average.

The pace of play really killed this course. Not sure if they loaded up the times to make up for the pandemic but it was a snails pace all day. Didn’t help there was basically a group of 8 in front of us. Didn’t see a marshal at all during the day. Cart also ran out of battery at the 7th hole. Overall, I don’t see myself coming back.

Course is in its worst shape ever. Greens are usually okay which is why I’ll tolerate playing here. But it’s pretty bad right now.

Also, i didn’t appreciate having to pay 2 extra cart fees just for my 5 year old son to tag along. I can understand paying 1 additional rider fee. But the gentlemen said i had to pay 2 extra fees. 1 fee was to have my other player have his own cart, and 1 was for my son to tag along. It just doesn’t make sense, but i didn’t want to argue or make a scene in front my child. So i just paid it. So for our 2-some, i paid 2 green fees and 4 cart fees?

The only reason I play this course is because it’s 5 minutes from my house. Otherwise find somewhere else to play and save your money!
