General Old Golf Course

This course has a nice variety if holes and the greens are in puttable shape. There us very little grass anywhere so getting a good lie is nit normal. The balls roll considerably on the fairways and uncontrollably when you miss. This creates a lot if lost time looking for balls. The bunkers are hard and in bad shape as well as the teeing areas. There is a driving range which had areas of good turf and good range balls. I would look for a deal if you play here since not worth over $25.

It seems not golfcourse . Nothing shown green glass on the fairway. Even nothing it around the green. If you wanna enjoy to work like Trail, you might be. There is nothing maintenance. Even cart path is terrible.

Poor greens lots of bumps from punching which was a awhile ago, fairways “sprayed green” with the fertilizer that they are using, which looks awful, basically playing on green dirt.

Golf Carts are relatively new but are not well kept by current employees, it’s sad because that could be nice. Pro Shop is separated into sections because of Covid & no real snack bar.

Finished the front 9 pretty quick less than 2 hours but the back 9 had people all over it, many of which slipped out the back around the pro shop staff so I quit after 9 really disappointed in what has become of this place. Last year this was a great course to play now it’s overpriced for what they are currently or can currently offer.

Very dry and dusty. Needs water to come back to life. Hard as a rock greens did not hold.

It worth the money. Course is in horrible condition right now. Greens are the only saving Grace.

I appreciate them trying to paint the fairways green, but I'd more appreciate it if they'd turn on the sprinklers. Very little grass, even in the fairway. Course was very dry, very sad looking, very dusty. Greens were bumpy, irregular, slow, but then very fast when the grass was missing. Very bad experience, wont be back, possibly ever. I remember this course being fun.

General Olde used to be a favorite. They turned off the irrigation and now it is in terrible shape.

Fairways are mostly dry and hard. If you miss the fairway you’d hit dirt. The greens are also hard and don’t hold the ball at all. Shots just bounce off the greens 95% of the time. All day as a group of four we only made two, maybe three divots on the green. Pace is a bit slow but still acceptable. I know $34 is already on the cheaper side. This course, however, is just not worth the time.

I appreciate the effort to paint tomorrow the grass green, greens need a little help in the fairways are in need of Reseeding.

first time play this course wait almost every shot. the faiirway are hard and dry. a lot of bal spot and green bumby.this the first and the last.

Didn't really want to believe the recent reviews about this course but unfortunately they are true. This course has definitely seen better days. The fairways were bone dry and painted green!!! Due to lack of maintenance I am wondering if this course is getting ready to close. What a shame!!!
