Fair Test - Beautiful Greens
This course has a simple but challenging layout. It has a little of everything to make for a fun day. Hit good shots and you have a chance to score. Hit bad shots and you could find yourself in a world of trouble.
Good course. Some holes play long.
The course was in good condition, the greens run good & in good condition. The course has no fairway bunkers or not much for water hazards. It plays long from the Blue T's, good course for the grip & rip long bomber. Great value thru golfnow.
Okay Course
The Tee Boxes were satisfactory, the fairways are in good shape and when I played the greens were a little tore up because of sand being tracked from the bunkers and people not fixing the greens. Maybe it was the group in front of us or maybe it was standard for this course. The price was good though so I'll probably play there again even if I have to clean up my line before I putt.
You get what you pay for.
For $17 weekday twilight with cart, not a bad deal. The course is in decent enough condition, fairways and greens are for the most part green and manicured. On many holes, if you're not on fairway, you're hitting off dirt. Not much rough to speak of. Bunkers are not really sand here either, but hard pack dirt. There is just one little pseudo water hazard on the back 9. Many mature trees line fairways and no homes are around the course. Most holes are pretty simplistic in design. They actually have a pretty nice club house for a low budget course. The only beef I had on this round was the low budget rift raft on the course. I was playing as a single and ran into a 4 sum on 9th tee playing very slow and well below my skill level (took one guy 3 swings to get 150 yards). He asked if I wanted to join them? I asked him if he was getting something at the turn, I would sneak past them at the then. He said "no" and drove off. Followed them for 3 holes before I had enough and went around them on 12 and went back and played that hole after 18. Another single I ran into on the course said this tends to be a problem being you have so many uneducated low budget golfers playing here. So course would benefit greatly from a Marshal around. All in all, if you're low on dough and want to get a round in, is not a bad place to play.
General Old GC Customer Service has Improved
General Old GC Customer Service is much Improved. Course condition is on par for the rates; could be better.
The greens are very good, fairways ok, cart paths need resurfacing.
The greens are very good, fairways ok, cart paths need resurfacing. The layout is typical for an older course with many trees and some dogleg holes.
Nice manicured fairways and greens.
This is my favorite local course. I always know that I will get nice fairways and greens.
The course is relatively simple, narrow, and or long depending on the hole.
Good course & fairly quick greens that were in great shape. It has been hot out here for some time now, so the fairways do have some dried out areas; otherwise I would have given it a "Pristine" rating. Tee boxes were also in great shape. I enjoyed playing there & will do so again here in the near future.
easy course great deal
price was god for a weekend day and it was only 5 dollars to replay 18 again ! Course is in good shape and greens are really great shape !
Good value, fun course
Great course for someone who just wants to play 18. It's not PGA West, but its a good time.
Decent
The course was ok for the money, can't complain too much. The staff at the shop wasnt too friendly. Also just beacause I have the same or close tee time doesn't mean I want to add to my twosome. Don't think it should be up to the staff who I'm going to play with.
Best value for the $$ in the inland empire
Fairways are a little long & could be some trimming but okay. The rough is tough & hole to hole is diffrerent.
Greens are excellent.
The water jugs were full - very good!
The course plays longer than the yards.
I'm a 9 handicap & shot 41-46=87.
Very steady course, nice playability and good for the average golfer

Good course with good challenges.`
Played the golf now tee-time and was paired up with another who had also purchased one. The course has a mixture of some tight tree lined holes and some that are a bit more open that cater to a broad range of handicaps. The greens are it's best feature as they are soft and receptacle and roll very true-albeit a bit fast for my liking. Course plays a bit easier in the calm morning air versus the afternoon when the winds do pick up a bit. But that gives just a different challenge and one has to make the appropriate adjustments. Putting green, chipping green and driving range are all very close by to the first tee, so you can be on the 1st tee quickly when your group is called. That being said, watch out if you hit the ball in the left rough on your tee shot as you can risk being hit by an errant shot from the driving range if you are more than 10 yards or so left of the fairway. Fairways are in general decent, but there are a few that have spots where the grass has died/worn away. But all in all a good place to play a round of golf! The service staff was also very friendly and efficient.
Course was in great shape only wish the foursome in front of us would learn to fix their pitch marks on the green, but that's not the courses fault.
Great conditions if only the previous group would learn how to fix their divots and take the traps.
Great Value & Challenging
I haven't played this course in several years and was pleasantly surprised. The fairways were green, the greens were smooth and well kept. Want to play it again soon!
Good course for the money.
I had a great time besides for being in the middle of a tournament.
Course in good shape
I really enjoy playing there. There was some minor mix up with my tee time but the staff took care of it in such a way that i received the tee time that i wanted and it didn't cost me any more money.
