Course was in poor condition due to recent rains so accurate evaluation not possible. Would play again in better weather and following the ability for proper maintenance of fairways and rough. Green were challenging, in great shape and rolled exceptionally well.

I enjoy the course layout, but 5:20 hr round is ridiculous! 11:20 tee time, almost didn’t finish because of 5:20 pm sunset. Cramming too many on the course.

I've been playing Riverwalk for 14 years. We love this course. Been play here about once a month.

Played here on the 28th and 29th of Jan, as I was in town briefly for a meeting. The ratings aren’t as good because the course is in rough shape- but in all fairness, it was flooded about a week ago so considering that, it was not bad. I’m surprised they actually let folks go out and play. Some of the fairways were swampy, spongy or wet. The greens however were in really good shape. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would love to come back later in the year once the course recovers. Lots of trash was washed up along some of the fairways that had been flooded. Good municipal course though.

The course has a pretty good layout...chalenging for beginners, a good test for intermediate golfers, experienced golfers can score here. The greens are very true but can be tricky to read. They're well-maintained and pretty slick. The biggest issue for me with this course is that some of the fairways need maintenance...they could use some aeration and re-seeding. There are a few holes with bare spots that need attending to. This course is a pretty good track, but they need to make sure they don't let it get rundown...if they fix those fairway areas that require some work, this course could be consdered very good value for the money.

The fact that this course charges over $100 on the weekend should be cause for uproar. This is a $50-$70 course at most. Absolutely insane price gouging out of a course that is trying to make all the money it can before being turned into housing. Shame shame shame.

Riverwalk is conveniently located near downtown San Diego. The course is low on frills but has a solid layout with great undulating greens and a creek that winds through course. Course was very wet and cart path only, not sure it was necessary since most golfers ignored.

The course could use a little better direction information on the course. When walking it isnr always clear which way to go .

Ok if you can't find anyplace to play. Just an average kind of course.

Paid 35 and walked worth the money greens are excellent keep trying this course could be good

Awesome condition. Great to see they’re really taking care of it and doing everything the right way with care. The greens were the best I’ve seen. Definitely recommend getting out there as soon as you can. It was a fun, tough round.

I loved the course. It was my 1st time playing here. There are not too many trees so the greens are wider and it's easier to spot your ball after swings. Overall, great location and the course is well taken care of.
