Friars/Presidio at Riverwalk Golf Club

Great place to play, proshop staff great, greens excellent. Well woth it to play.

Had 2 clubs stolen from my bag while in pro shop.

The tee boxes need work, the greens are overgrown to prevent burnout so veryyy slow, also bumpy and choppy. Fun and forgiving course to play. Pace is slow.

Terrible course, maybe good for first time beginners but WAY overpriced. You’re better off going to Mission Bay or Admiral Baker South. Terrible pace, unorganized. Will never play here again. TOO EXPENSIVE, ridiculous prices.

The first 2 holes were very wet and marsh like lots of standing water alongside the first green cart path this continued to the 2nd tee box.

I understand the course is located in the river bottom so will plan my next visit based on time of year.

I do like the improvements that are being done on the back 9.

Did see a few people on foot and bikes crossing various fairways.

6 hour round. Many fairways on the back 9 are half dirt as well as the greens being sanded and rolling inconsistent. Not worth it for the price

No warning of conditions of several holes and no discount. Typical

Terrible starter, not very friendly unless your his friends. Not willing to try again for at least a year then maybe he’ll be gone.

Beautiful day! Course was in good condition, only issue was 3 holes on the back 9 were being re—seeded lots of dirt spots

Unfortunately this course has turned for the worse! I played this past Friday and was not aware that the majority of the back 9 was under construction with dirt fairways, dozens of crew working on the course and greens that were partially off limits and roped off. Typically courses let players know about this and discounted rates are available. I've played this course multiple times and the conditions just plain suck now

The staff member checking us in took 20 minutes to fumble around with 2 golfers and snapped back at me when i politely asked if I could go to the starter since I'm already paid online. He was extremely rude and it was unprofessional. I won't be playing there again and recommend you avoid it at all costs.

The course is under construction and it is quite honestly, one of the worst courses i have ever played, given its conditions. I would have no problem with this if the rates were heavily discounted but $62 for this was not great. Me and my buddies mentally checked out by hole 14 as piping it down the fairway would lead to sitting in hardpan dirt.

I having been playing this course for many years and this is the worst I have seen it. The back nine is a disaster. Also I did not appreciate being charged extra for a golf cart. No mention of that with golf now. It is the last time I will play there. Soo sad to see it go.
