Condition
I love this golf course but it caught our group by surprise the greens were not only air rated they had so much sand on the greens it was impossible the pot so that’s not a fun time if you know what I mean we shouldn’t have to pay the full price under those conditions you should be able to still put over aerated greens I mean I’ve been playing golf for 60 years

One of my favorite golf courses in San DiegoI always look forward to playing Riverwalk beautiful first tee first hole over the water majestic bridge on the right there’s a lot of nerves on that first day but you’re a Golfero you love it!! How are you are a trash talk wish I love I give trash talk to the cart guy in my buddies so in general that adds to the fun

The greens are always in good shape
The course is always in good shape and the greens are always well maintained. The bunkers need work but most courses during Covid aren’t refilling with sand so the bunkers are like hitting off of clay with a bit of sand on top. I assume this will change when things normalize after Covid is finally over.

Always a beautiful setting that Riverwalk courteous personnel I was paired with to two guys that were so fun and we enjoyed the day tremendously seems like you always make friends playing at Riverwalk the greens rolledwell I always appreciate that! I’ve been playing Riverwalk for over 10 years always a fun experience!

A Favorite golf course
When I drive in to Riverwalk and meet the guys in the pro shop then go down to the starter booth everybody is so cordial and friendly they make you feel like family and you start talking to the golfers who are all very friendly and just happy to be at Riverwalk and that’s the way it was again today it’s a phoneIt’s a fun 4 1/2 hours of us golf course

I will be back
Great course in San Diego to get a full 18 and feel like they are in the golf business. Well kept fairways and greens while the tee boxes could use some love.

Decent course, and price via Underpar,
Good pace at 4.5 hrs walking from back tees

We didn’t have any issues with pace of play but I think the Marshall could have hurried some people along because I didn’t see just about a fistfight over pace of play on the 10th

Great location, average course design
The course is in a great spot, but the design and maintenance are average at best. The fairways are not in good shape. Not worth the price the market is currently bearing out, but hey it’s golf.

Worst customer service EVER
Went there for my first time and the gentleman that checked me in was super rude and couldn’t even find my tee time. I brushed it off and went down to the starter who didn’t even know my tee time even tho I gave him my receipt. I heard the guy in the pro shop radio him and let him know before I even went down there. Wouldn’t let me play with my group because I had a spectator with me even tho they told me it was fine. Course was all muddy and looked like they haven’t touched it since it rained. Played 3 holes they got told I wasn’t able to play with a spectator. Went to get my money back and they wouldn’t give it to me since it was 24 hours before my tee time. They told me I could play then pretty much robbed me.
