Coyote Hills Golf Course

We played at noon on a Monday, paired up with another twosome and never saw the group in front or the group behind until hole 15 or so. The greens were quite soft due to recent thunderstorms. fairways were soft enough and green. I moved my ball off a bare spot once. the last time we played here in April, the area around the greens was very dry and hard. you could see where they had punched and aerated these areas. Many of the greens on the front nine where chartreuse from fertilizing, but soft, supple green. It is back to being a premier course in my mind. The layout is superb - at least for the front. challenge yourself and go back a tee box. It is not that long. We played the blacks, and it was a great challenge.

I have played many courses in Orange County and have always heard great things about Coyote Hills. Had the opportunity to play and it exceeded my high expectations. Coyote Hills is now my favorite course!

This is a great course but no where near worth the $130 + $5.00 range balls that I paid. Greens/tee boxes are a little chewed up and the bunkers are rock hard. For $130, conditions need to be 10x nicer than they are. They sent me out by myself which was cool.

First time playing CH. Everyone really enjoyed our round. There was a tournament on the back, so the pace was terrible. Other than that, was a fun round. Conditions were good . Could use some sand in the traps. Hit bottom a couple of times.

Would certainly come back

Course conditions were amazing and I forgot my $600 Rangefinder in the golf cart. I’ve played many courses where there’s no chance that it would be found but not only did they find it but they shipped it to me for five dollars! Absolutely amazing!

It’s so sad to see how far this course has slid in the last 10 years. When I lived in the area, I played Westridge many times and enjoyed the layout and conditions. The greens are in awful condition. Basically, it looks like the course is being mowed and watered only. But hey, our round only took 6 hours which means people still pay to play and don’t care about the condition apparently???

This is my favorite course to play at. I am so thankful they are located close to where I live. The staff is always friendly, and reservations always have no issue.

Just played a round.with 3 other seniors who were unfamiliar with course so we played from whites. Still was challenging enough to be enjoyable but I will go back to blue tees as it was too short. Other courses I usually play whites. With different shots, different clubs I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. 3 birdies!

Finally this place has done some good & enacted management to ensure greater guest satisfaction. It used to be packed hold ups with concrete-like fairways but it has improved a LOT. Staff was nice, course was in good condition, & the pace was outstanding. The pace has to be one of the biggest changes I’ve noticed when comparing to the past 3 years. Would recommend if under $100 & would definitely play again. Would’ve been nice to know the range was closed on Tuesday at noon for maintenance as well. Besides that, great time out.

I love this course. You get what you pay for because it’s a beautiful course.
