Coyote Hills Golf Course

Pretty easy playable course. I wouldn’t give it more than 3 stars for the price. Most of the creeks were dry. Wasn’t overly impressed with layout or views. I still had fun though.

Good challenging course, however, right now the greens are punched (super slow) and there are no holes!!!! Literally a flagstick stuck in the ground. Many other courses in the area have the pool noodles or raised cups, but here just a flagstick. Conditions are pretty good tee to green, but without a hole it's just kinda like a modified driving range. Pretty disappointing:/ make sure you call first and see if they have cups, it didnt really feel like golf even during these crazy times!

No complaints about not having holes in the ground for sanitation purposes. But $80 to play a twilight weekday WITH no prior warning that the greens were being aerated left a lot to be desired from this course.

The Facility was fantastic, pro shop well organized, social distancing was being exercised. The course was I. Good shape, the greens had been aired and due to the Covid the pins were placed into the greens with out a cup. That was a little bit of a different look. Overall was a good day out and the course didn’t a great job getting the course ready.

Course layout was awesome the landscape and views are challenging but fun. For playing there my first time I would definitely go back and play again. Highly recommend this course to anyone novice to pro. Greens are super fast almost like playing on concrete once the moisture evaporated. Most surprising thing was after walking off the 18th green there was an employee cleaning our clubs in the back of the cart. Great over all experience

Booked this place on Golf now with two friends last min. It was incredible. 5 stars all around and will back often. Course layout is amazing, the conditions we’re unbelievable. From fairways, to traps to greens. You can tell they spare no expense. The best part of it all is their staff. I normally hate all old Starters and Rangers because they are rude to younger golfers. Not here, everyone we came in contact with was top notch and that enhanced our experience even more!

Course was nice for the most part. Fairways were cut way short and everything was very dry. Very tight lies out of the fairway. Pace of play was very frustrating. Waited on over hole. Front nine took 3 hours and the back went a little quicker at 2 hours. We called the clubhouse on hole 8 after we were approaching the 3 hour mark for 9 holes because we didn’t think we could finish 18 before dark (t time was 1150). They did not come out on the course and there was no martial. I don’t think I will play this course again. On a good note, the course was beautiful with great scenic views.

Really enjoyed the course - it’s a very interesting and challenging design, and conditions are excellent. It’s firm and fast, with really good greens. (Tee boxes were kinda rough) Previous reviews that took issue with conditions were written by players who don’t know that Bermuda goes dormant in the winter and becomes very firm.

Pace of play was not good. A marshal explained to us that he found a group in front of us that was clogging it all up and that group was strongly encouraged to get going. However it was still backed up the whole way. If pace of play were more strictly enforced, this course would be a real gem. As it is, it’s very good

This course has a great and challenging layout but the condition is sub par. The fairways are hard and the tee boxes need work. Most greens are ok but some need to be redone. The course gets a lot of play and it’s obvious. Overall, fair is as far as I’d go.

I played CH several times, this is by far worst conditions ever. The fairways are hard as a rock with few good lies after shot in middle of fairway. Balls just run out into ruff or penalty areas. Collars around greens are without grass. Greens very uneven. Prices have dropped, but conditions won’t bring me back. This used to be nice course, unfortunately not anymore.

Played this course many times, one of the better layouts in SoCal. The tee boxes and greens were in pretty tough shape. Tee boxes need to be re-sodded with a lot of dirt showing and the greens had a lot of pock marks with sand fill. Fairways were hard and fast but to be expected in February in California. Would like to see the greens and tee boxes in better shape when I'm paying almost $100 for the round.

Nice Fast Greens, Tight Fairways, Scenic Mountain View’s Fast rolling fairways.... Overall really loved this course... A little slow pace of play but ultimately great challenging course ... Good deal for this course around $60

Nice layout. Pretty forgiving with nice vistas. A couple of the bunkers were like concrete, but we should be avoiding them anyway. Greens were fast as lightning, but pretty true.

I played with one other guy and we did the front nine in 1hr, 35 minutes. Then we bumped into the group in front of us, who was also healed up by the group in fry of them, so the back took 2-1/2 hrs.

Overall I liked the course and would play it again.

If you like scenic and thought provoking shots, this is your course.

Checked in yesterday at the golf shop and some young man has a little power and he decided to use it.
