Beautiful layout but course could use some upkeep, Cups had alot of dead spots around the edges / damage to the edge. Staff were very friendly but had no drinks other than water or soda on the course, carts did not have GPS

Beautiful course with great upkeep but not for the beginner golfer.

The course was in fair condition. To compensate for the gimmicky layout/holes, there should be a card showing each hole layout. All other amenities were in poor condition. Carts, bathrooms, bridges, cart paths-were dirty or unkempt. Employees were kind.

One of the most interesting and beautiful courses Ive played. I was visiting the area and would come back just to play there. It’s a great deal.

I am a student at UTK and have been coming to this course all 4 years of school, it truly is a gem of a course and has been consistently getting in better shape(and costing more) over the years but I would recommend this course to anyone who isn’t trying to walk the course as they don’t allow that

Beautiful, well maintained course. It is not for beginners or high handicappers such as myself. If you fall into one of those categories, better bring some extra balls.

If you are a decent golfer, you will love this course.

Was paired up with another single this morning, and had a very enjoyable experience. Humidity got to me over the last few holes, but the course has a lot of positive traits going for it:

- Very friendly staff

- Beautiful and challenging layout, with 5 different tee boxes for golfers of all ages and abilities

- Greens were in very good shape, and very puttable. Fairways were also in great shape, as well.

- Course is not long, but accuracy on many holes is at a premium. The course also will reward you for hitting a good shot at the right times.

- Pace of play was 3.5 hours, excellent when considering the weather.

Couple of negatives:

- Didn't look like pin placements were changed for a few days, as the edges were frayed and in rough shape

- Certain areas for shots that were slightly off were very penal, and the bunkers were hardpan with no sand in them.

- Halfway food and drinks didn't have much to offer.

Would love to play this course in the spring or in the fall, when it isn't 92 and muggy - but I enjoyed this course a lot, and would recommend this to anyone looking for courses to play in the area.

This is a great course as are all the Arthur Hills courses that I have played. A lot of variety of holes.

Although this course is out in the boonies, it was a great experience, The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are 3 practice greens and a driving range that wasn’t torn up, the course is challenging but affords scenic views. My only negative was the sanded greens. I just couldn’t read the grain and that made it harder to putt. However it didn’t seem to slow them down any. overall great experience and would definitely play here again!

The course is in great shape in a BEAUTIFUL location. Plenty of photo spots and wildlife to be seen. The old "keep it in the fairway" saying is true here, the rough is long and deep. Its a great spot that I will definitely return to!

Wonderful golf course hadn’t played it for a few years but was very impressed even with all the rain they had everybody we saw there was very welcoming and friendly we live in Kentucky and are definitely going back
