Your response to my review regarding your management failed to address my specific issue that you booked WAY TOO MANY foursomes without appropriate time breaks when we played. Yes we booked a two-some and you paired us up. You seem to imply we had a problem with being paired up and that is not true. Many courses do that on a Fridays and Saturdays. I've been playing golf for 40 years so I think I know a little about this. What professionally managed courses DON'T do is overbook the tee times so that it takes almost 3 hours to play nine holes. You failed in your listing of facts to address this fact. Or the fact that every hole had 12 players playing it. And it shouldn't matter who we booked our round with because YOU are responsible for the pace of play on YOUR course. You overbooked tee times and you don't employ a marshal to drive the course and keep play moving when there's a problem. Readers deserve to know what they are getting from you if they happen to book on a Friday. And they deserve to know if they have a problem that the manager is too busy hiding in her office to personally address their issues (until they post it on this site apperently).

I've played this course many times over the years due to the beauty of the natural surroundings. The course has changed ownership numerous times including bankruptcy and the course shows it. Fairways and greens are marginal at best and the "sand" traps are basically dirt and impossible to play. We played recently on a Friday and their policy is 4-somes only which is ok BUT they didn't adjust the tee-off schedule approriately for this policy and it took 2 hrs and 50 minutes to play 9 holes. Every hole had 12 people on it. I At the turn I went into the clubhouse to speak to the manager and she refused to come out of her office to speak with us. Her message to us was that 2hrs 50 minutes was an acceptable pace of play. Its sad that a course with such natural beauty surrounding it can not find a management company to operate it professionally and properly maintain it.

People were so nice. The course was so scenic and unique that my wife and I were extremely impressed! Go play there if you can! You will not regret it!!

Fairways and greens were in very good shape. However, the rough was very quick and not very well maintained. The course layout was great and it could be beautiful with a little more attention to rest of the grounds. Several holes ran right along side of the river.

Greens are coming back from being punched. Tee boxes good. Fairways good Letting stuff grow so keep it in play. My personal favorite and I never get tired of playing here Food at the turn is to expensive and I like to patronize them but Course crisscrossing the French Broad River makes for some beautiful sites I will return time after time

Course is in great shape! Greens rolled very well, and fairways are amazing. Felt the staff was nice and the rangers kept pace moving. I play in mostly in the Knoxville area and some in Sevierville, this course is by far the best value for your money. It is in really good shape and I like how they are beginning to naturalize numerous areas. Never quite realized how massive this course really is!

Food truck had lots of options. Hoping the restaurant opens soon. Just glad there is food again, albeit good food.

Would have once been a phenomenal golf course but now not so much bunkers are horrible weeds everywhere was supposed to play 18 but only played 9 because of the conditions the grass on the greens had not been cut in some time yes the greens had been punched I understand that part but the greens not being cut or rolled as fresh grass is growing in past the fringes… the cups are not fresh cut especially for Sunday play as there wasn’t fresh edges I would not recommend nor play here again

Had a nice round today playing. The staff is always extremely nice and helpful. The only issue we had today was that the greens were still not back to being 100% yet where they told us they were in great shape. They were still quite bumpy and slow.

Give it a few weeks and I think they will be great. Also, get the food from the food truck after hole 9!

We loved the course. It was challenging but fair and nice scenery. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. We will definitely play this course again. The only downside is some of the infrastructure needs upgrading (bridges and cart paths)

Staff was amazing! Wife and I had so much fun playing this course.. it is one of the most scenic and unique courses we have ever played! The scenery is amazing and the food at the turn was great! Thank you all for a good time! Steve & Carol

Great fairways, bunkers and greens. Me and my son had a blast. We were even given some helpful hints before our round started.

Great layout. Greens had been punched and we're a bit slow. That was only issue.
