Strawberry Farms Golf Club

The staff were amazing! The driving range and club house were great! Nice layout but golf course was in terrible shape! Definitely not worth the money only because of the course condition.

This course used to be one of the best in OC. The course conditions have completely fallen off a cliff. Fairways are horrible. The greens are terrible as well, with large patches of uneven grass. It’s honestly disappointing to see such great course suffer such neglect. The owners need to rethink their game plan and spend time and money bringing this course back to Par. The current charge of $110 is a complete joke.

Overrated for this area. Poorly marked for distances and no GPS on carts which is surely unusual for a supposedly up scale couse. Usually not too busy on weekdays which may indicate green fees are too high.

This is a decent course and the green were ok. For the cost you would think they would overseed and not have bare spots.

It’s a difficult course and the greens were like concrete but loved the challenge

Played on a Sunday afternoon. Buddy and I joined up with a couple of others. Love the course. No residences immediately adjoining. That is what I like. OC places like Arroyo, Oak. Just pretty. Pace was 4 hours on the button. Gone are the days when the staff had an attitude and the greens were unmercifully pockmarked with unrepaired ball marks. Welcome back Strawberry!!

They over booked and didn't manage the course, so we waited on almost every shot. We were very disappointed for paying that rate.

Went on a Tuesday and played 2 rounds and finished both rounds in 6:30. Started at 7:30 am and finished at 2:00 pm. Course is in good condition.

Enjoyed our round with friends. Course was in good condition and staff was very polite. Fairways were narrow in many places and out of bounds was a lost ball most of the time. You have to hit the ball straight!

Played this course a number of times. At their standard $125 rate it's a bit pricey for the course but for the $65 I paid that day, you can't possibly beat it. I'd say this is a $90-$100 track but their location allows them to get the OC $. I've always felt it was a good layout but not great. I changed my mind this day. So much diversity in the holes and each hole sets all by itself. The 18th is such a great finishing hole but the waterfall right of the green was turned off for some reason the day I played. Condition, greens good and fast but not great (a lot of depressions on greens but we played late in the day), fairways were just ok, not great either but overall in good shape, just not great.

Great, track, great staff (pro shop items were a bit short that day as well for some reason. Normally a lot of nice items in it). Restaurant is great too.

Very well designed golf course. I walked the front nine and rode the back. Lots of fun picking the right side of the fairway to give yourself the best approach. The course plays firm and fast so you can get creative on your approaches. I will definately be back to have breakfast or lunch in the cute diner. Staff was great with a well stocked pro shop.
