Westridge Golf Club
About
Westridge Golf Club is a challenging layout designed by Robert Muir Graves, a familiar name in California golf. Graves has designed many of the state's most popular courses including Boundary Oak in Walnut Creek and Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel. At just under 6,450 yards, Westridge G.C. is seemingly short but what it lacks in length it makes up for with more than 60 sand bunkers strategically placed alongside the narrow fairways and sloping greens. There are also some holes that offer interesting risk-reward opportunities for adventurous big hitters. The elevation changes throughout provide difficult uphill and downhill shots that will depend almost entirely on proper club selection. Water hazards also come into play on four holes. The golf course finishes with a dramatic par 5 that plays downhill against the winds to a rolling fairway and then into a fiercely protected green.

Good value
The course is reasonally priced..
They are working on the fairways to improve them. The layout is interesting.. A good value for your money.
The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly
This is the first time I've been back to Westridge in several years. As many others have said, the course has declined a little since the new ownership happened. The tee boxes are in rough shape. Some are completely dirt/sand. Others need to be leveled off. The greens were the highlight. They held really well and rolled really well with good speed, but the pin locations were simply impossible on some holes. The fairways are tight posing some good challenges, but they're cut at a length where it really doesn't matter if you hit them or not. The same for the traps. Some have some plush sand to work with while others are total hardpan or filled with rocks and pebbles. With some investment, this course could be incredible with its unique elevation changes and beautiful scenery, clubhouse, and other amenities. One last thing...hire a ranger to keep the pace and a few more greenskeepers to keep the course from getting too shaggy. I enjoyed myself. My son and I will be back in the future. I just hope to see improvement instead of decline.
Horrible rate of play
They really need to space out their Tee times better. From the first hole on we were force to endure long waits. For much of the day there was a back log of 2 to 3 groups at each Tee box. We ended up leaving by the 14th hole because of how long it took and we weren’t the only ones. A group behind and in front of us left early as well. Not worth it to pay full price then not finishing because of bad rate of play.
Horrible
Awful staff. Took 3 hours to play 11 holes. They could not care less about making sure you have a good experience. The staff was completely inept.
Made putting impossible
The greens are in great shape for some reason the groundskeeper decided to plant the flag on every possible slope there is on the putting green. Every single had a slope on the hole so if you missed it any particular way, it would just roll.
Great course
Great experience. Got teamed up with two great guys.

자주 가는 코스이고 생각보다 쉽지않은 코스인거같아요
집에서 가까워서 개인적으로 부담없어서 좋아요
Slow, and rude
It’s a fun course as long as you have 7-8hrs to spare. Every time we play here’s is super slow, if a marshal is out, they’ll say it’s your fault while someone is 150yds in front of you on the fairway and they can see them. The people that golf here are super rude when paired with people. Sure the manager warned my gf about not wearing a shirt with a collar, but that was the least of the courses issues. Fix the slow play then you can enforce country club rules.
