It was the one of the top golf course but the most green burnt out and so slow. Green Condition is the most important for the golfer since you may use your putter more than once in each and every hole. You can put better in the fairway than the green here. This must be the management issue who neglected aeration and sanding on greens right time. It is easy to delay or forget the most important maintenance and ruin 5 star golf course to a horrible one.

I have been golfing for 25 years and this course has the worst screens I have ever played on. And to charge $100 to play this course is a travesty. The greens have so many dead areas with no grass it is unbelievable. And the grass that is there is so uncut that it was impossible to putt without swinging very hard. I never leave reviews but I just had to after this round. You have been warned.

This is the first time I played here since the 1990s. The course is in excellent condition, except for several greens which were not so nice. Overall it was excellent though. It helps that I shot my lowest score ever today too!

For $115 I would expect the greens to be at least average. About half of them were in terrible condition... a lot of disease. the 16th green was unplayable. The greens that were visible from the clubhouse were in good condition, but not the rest. It's hard to enjoy a round of golf when you can't putt on half of the greens.

It looked like a landmine went off on almost all the greens so many patches filled with sand made it impossible to putt. Definitely not worth the money until they figure out the greens, save your time!

Well, it’s m sorry to say that this last round at Tustin Ranch was a huge disappointment. I think they do a decent job with this place, even though it’s way overpriced. However, the greens on TR (on 9/12/2020) were so incredibly bad, this course should be closed (until they’re fixed). TR refunding $40 bucks or so on a $190 tee time is a complete joke. The greens were mostly unplayable with heavy sand and dirt on about 3/4 of them. Seriously, I felt robbed having to even pay $150 bucks to play. We were told at the last minute as my son and I were paying, that the greens are “under maintenance” and we will be discounting the round. Now, I have played on freshly punched or aerated greens plenty of times but seriously, it was like putting in the bunker. TR needs to look closer at the course maintenance and greens keeper. That should never happen. Overall bummer. The staff was super nice as always, and the starter was amazing.

The greens... I should say the putting surfaces are horrible. There is more dirt than grass on several of them. Aerification of dirt results in dirt. I’m not sure how the greenskeeper allowed them to get this bad. These are beyond repair. Expect to be disappointed unless you really don’t care about that part of your game.

Other than the horrible greens, everything was great. Fast pace. The greens though were in really really bad shape. Until the resow the greens, I I don’t believe these greens will really recover and I Hope I’m wrong.

Greens were punched, staff was unfriendly, really bad overall experience. Not worth the money one bit

I am a monthly member here. I had never seen the green as bad as now. 2/18 holes has grass alive, others were burned to bare ground. There were no discount for bad green. Don't play here until November 2020 because it will take a long time to regrow the grass on the greens. The fairways are in good shape. I will cancel my membership for sure.

All the greens were irrated, so all 18 greens were filled with sand. Couldn't really put when its a thinned out bunker. Other than that, we enjoyed the course, would like to play it again when the greens are all nice and done.

I’ve played dozens of courses in OC from Willowick to Big Canyon and these are hands down the worst greens I’ve seen. This used to be a great course in excellent condition so I’m not sure what happened? There are large patches of dirt on most greens and bare spots from ball marks from golfers who lack the proper etiquette to fix.

This could be a much better course but the conditions are absolutely terrible. The greens are in the worst condition I have ever seen at any course. For the amount of money you pay, you’d expect the course to be much better kept. There are $40 courses with nicer greens. Disappointing. I like the layout and the pace of play was good but the value is nowhere close there.

Nice course , had a good time . Had more of issue with members thinking they could just cut in front of line because they walked up at their tee time -no need for that we're all dealing with same Covid BS , show up early , check in , veg out til tee time in your car
