Tustin Ranch Golf Club

I love this course and have been playing at least once a week for the past months. I played there with my son and the pace of play was slow but now awful. But the four-some behind us were annoying because they played as if the two-some in front of them were invisible. They hit the balls right away we finished our second or third shots within 20-30 yards distance. I usually play the blue tee but yesterday played the white as the tee boxes got crowded in par 3 halls with 2-3 teams lining up in that area. I just wanted to allow enough waiting room for the players behind us. But they put their balls on a tee while I was preparing my tee shots. The others in the carts showed no decency either as they talked loudly exclusively enjoying their time. At one of those tee boxes I asked for their cooperation only to no avail. Thank you gentlemen for showing my son the worst golf manner not to be learned. The tuituin was expensive green fees and several bad tee shots on my side. Never want to cross this people again, but if I do in the near future, I would let them go first for the peace of my mind.

This course has really great bones. Love the setup, and the positions it can put you in to make risk-reward decisions, But the price to play, in the condition the course is in, should probably be $100 instead of $150. The greens were mostly nice and fast around the holes, but every one had patches of dirt or disease or burnout. That's just not something you see at this price point. The fairway-rough transition area was just not as clean as it should be, and the tee boxes and rough were not very well maintained. This would be fine at a $50 muni, but you're paying $150 to play on the weekend. Also didn't like that there's no discount for walking, and it is a walkable course.

Nice course, good staff. I enjoyed playing it and would like to play again but for $122.00 I'll probably play somewhere else or wait for a better deal

Friendly staff. Course was in great condition. Greens were fast!

overall the golf day was good. i have noticed the last several times on the course, the maintenance crew will turn on the sprinklers system during super twilight hours NOT GOOD, WHEN YOU'RE A PAYING CUSTOMER !

could you please review your process and maybe start the watering when it gets dark. thank you for your consideration Tustin Ranch.

Awesome greens but fairways were kinda beat up lots of areas that were without grass basically hard pan on what should be fairway or groomed rough.

Definitely won’t be coming back. Hoped things would have improved because I understand that this is a Troon property now, but not the case. One of the worst “bang-for-the-buck” courses I’ve visited. Tijeras Creek (another Troon property) is cheaper, much nicer and only 20 minutes away.

Save your money and play Black Gold, coyote or Anaheim hills. Even Costa Mesa Country Club (way cheaper) is maintained better.

Course was well maintained and excellent even after a rain storm. A little wet in places but very playable. It’s a challenging and beautiful course. Even on a weekday there a lot of players so I’m not sure why the snack bar was closed. The reason for a less than outstanding review however is the fact that they will book and charge for 18 holes up to as little as one hour before sunset. We had to quit when we couldn’t see the ball on the 15th and there were multiple groups behind us. (One in front too, we didn’t hold them up. :-). All in all though I’ll definitely return because it’s such a well maintained course with great staff. Just open the snack bar please…and at least have a disclaimer or advisory if it’s likely to get dark before finishing the round.
