About
Cimarron's Boulder course is desert in location, but almost links in feel. It's hard to imagine even the most beer-cart-fueled hacker thinking they're in Scotland. Considering the bright sun, the striking San Jacinto Mountains and all. But …
"We've had many golfers tell us it reminds them of the British Open," head pro Jason Janke said. "For what we have in the desert, this is probably the closest course to that."
At 6,782 yards from the back tees, Cimarron challenges with length and accuracy. It's wise to keep your ball in the fairway here or you'll get some up-close desert views. Still with three par 4s over 450 yards and two par 5s over 560 yards, bombing away with your driver is anything but completely ignored.

Fantastic and beautiful course
My first time here and I will definitely be back.
The scenery from the minute you arrive till the time you leave is gorgeous! The course is laid out beautifully. There are several challenges and I love that about courses. I don't like simple courses.
The greens were almost perfect, the fairways were awesome!
This is a fantastic course.
Too bad it was so freaking windy for the 8 days that I was here.

Disappointment
I went there and was told the course had been closed due to irrigation damage from Hurricane Hilary. The guy at the pro shop cancelled my reservation.
No mention if anything like that on my reservation confirmation.
PERFECT CONDITIONS!
CIMARRON is one of my all-time favorite courses; it's comparable to any TRENT JONES course, and I will recommend CIMARRON to any golfer!

Great course, great experience
Played the Pebbles course with my wife and had the course all to our self. We saw one other golfer all day and he was 10 holes ahead of us. Course was in great shape for the middle of summer. The carts our brand new and have a ice chest full of ice. The layout is great and I highly recommend it.

Off Season
The course was nice and I enjoyed the layout. The amenities are hard to rate because it looked like some things were closed for the off season.

Ok for $$
Kinda of a boring front 9. Seemed like I was playing the same holes on most of the front 9. Back 9 does get better! Can’t complain for $29.

EXCELLENT COURSE
I would recommend CIMARRON to any person; the course has some narrow fairways and greens on hills - golfers that don't hit straight shots the majority of the time would probably consider this course VERY difficult!

Fun course!
Pretty fun course and great value. Pace was tremendous. Large waste bunkers line the sides of fairways on certain holes so you gotta keep it in the fairway. Challenging but fun! Would play again

pretty fair value for the money
It was extremely hot with not many people on the course. a bit of wind on holes 2-6 but when it stoppped it just got hotter. Course in pretty good shape for mid summer.
No flags in hoels 17 and 18,,?
no cart drinks or bev on the course so be prepared witih your own!
Good value, took 2:45 to play full 18.
