The Boulder Course at Cimarron Golf Resort is renowned for its outstanding course conditions and breathtaking views of the San Jacinto Mountains. With multiple tees and yardages available, the Boulder Course presents a challenging yet accommodating layout for players. From the Cimarron Tees, the course measures 6,747 yards, featuring a course rating of 72.0 and a slope of 124. Alongside the Championship Boulder Course, Cimarron Golf Resort also provides an executive par 55, called the Pebble Course, as well as excellent practice amenities that include a grass driving range, a short game area, and a putting green. Regardless of the season, Cimarron Golf Resort is a destination that should not be missed while in Palm Springs.

Slow
It seems like the people that play there have no shame with regard to slow play. It’s not uncommon to see a five some or a six some out there. The wind was bad that day, but that’s no one’s fault. The course layout and condition were excellent, staff was cool and I’ve never use the restaurant or facilities, but they seem proper. You see the refreshment cart on the course, but never a Marshall urging things along.

The course only had 9 holes. We were told that after we played the front 9 that we wold have to wait till 2 to go around again to play the front nine again. We did not play.

Good Value
I was looking to just pick up an extra round when in the Palm Sprints area and found this course. It was a typical middle of the road course that played nicely. The price for the round was about right. It got pretty windy, which made some holes very long and others much shorter. the course layout meant I was either going directly into the wind or directly downwind. There were only a few cross wind holes. I liked it and would play it again. Not the best course, but definitely not the worst and it priced just about right.

Great Value in the Valley
$87 is now a value in Coachella Valley! Got paired with a threesome and we teed off at 1:20 pm. Wind was blowing a bit, so a little more challenging. But everyrhing is right in front of you on this course. Only challenge is the wash that runs down the middle and comes in play on many holes. But the course was in great shape, and pace of play was good, Finished 18 in 4 1/2 hours. Great day on the course with playing partners

From getting out of our car and the clubs immediately being looked after by friendly staff to the pro shop, course, and of course cart girl ….we so enjoyed ourselves

Better than I remember... but SLOOOOW
Everything was better than I remember it being 2 years ago. Course is in great shape, greens roll true, wind wasn't bad, but the pace. 5hr+ pace on a Tuesday afternoon was tough.

THEY NEED MARSHALS!!
Fun course, good greens, nice layout, challenging holes and holes that you can score on!!! Pace of play is awful!!!!! Need marshals to move people along! Several choke points that a attentive marshal could get people thru!!!!!!!!
