Course needs some love.
I loved playing here as I am a pretty casual golfer that is trying to get better, but the greens and tee boxes are in absolute shambles. Fairways need some work as well. But for the money it is worth it for a casual round.
Poor condition
Staff was very friendly and professional. Champion course is more expensive and in great condition. Glades course is cheap to play but terrible course conditions. Poor quality greens with much of it has no grass. Tee boxes are over grown to look exactly like the rough around it on some boxes. Lack of cart path…. You just drive around the green looking for next hole.
Glades course
It was definitely worth for the money. Greens are pretty shabby. Fairways are ok and all sand traps have been filled for easy maintenance.
Great course for beginners.
Better
Fairways are still rough, However definitely improvement on most the greens. Course has potential always have. Just needs the TLC.
Top Goat Ranch in Ft Lauderdale
Wow. The goats don’t even play here, very rough conditions, make sure you play the champions course, playing the ‘Glade's course will ruin your day, giant pass! COLONY WEST has 3 courses we played the roughest!
Championship Course’s Ugly Stepchild
The Championship Course has and will always be a great experience.
The Glades Par-60 Executive Course shouldn’t take as long or longer to play.
Yeah it’ll be busy on a Sunday in late April no matter where you play in South Florida. Nonetheless, 5.5 hours for such a course with no Starters or Marshalls is a bummer.
Colony West Golf Club
Sorriest excuse for a golf course I have ever seen. Full stop.
No grass on the tee boxes. Greens were pitiful.
Fairways like potato fields.
Absolutely horrible experience.
Greens and Tee Boxes looked like they had Tijuana Rash
The greens were extremely poorly kept. Multiple tee boxes in same condition. Small little executive course that I wouldn't play again. Not well laid out and terrible conditions for playing in April. Could only imagine in July or August with it super hot. Probably a dirt patch.
Quick, fun round
Course is in pretty good shape and with the exception of one group in front of us (who we passed) the place of play was very good on a Saturday afternoon - finished in about 2 hours and 20 minutes. A little pricey, but it's a fun course that is much less busy than it's closest comp.
The Course
They need to put more effort into maintaining the course.
The greens are terrible. Would not recommend this course.
No worth it
Courses and terrible shape only several of the greens are
In good shape. The champ course is well kept nice. They should invest a little money in this course and it would be halfway decent..
