I Recommend This Course
Good Course for the money
Nice course. Not too challenging as far as layout...lots of straightforward holes. The difficultly level is evened out by having longer par 3's and a couple of 400 plus par 4's. Bunkers were not too good-wet, packed sand, but that seems to be the norm anywhere you go except for the upper-end courses.

Our 1st time. The conditions were good. Tees/greens/fairways all. Bunkers were poor.
Layout was good. Fairways are very wide and therefore makes golf fun.
Need another set of forward tees as some of the par 4’s are a bit too long. Good value as most courses are more $$.

The course was in good shape. There was various softness to the greens which made it difficult. You didn’t know if the ball would land soft or bounce.

1st time playing
This was our 1st time playing Tahquitz. Enjoyed the conditions of the tees, fairways and greens. Green side bunkers need attention. Course played long for 6200 yds. They need 2 additional tees. One in front of the yellow and another new tees on many holes for women. Will definitely play again.

The Desert
For the money it was definitely worth it. I would recommend it to anyone. Some of the fairways are a bit dry. Greens in great shape.

Compared to last year the course condition was much improved and repaired from the flood of past years! Great job!! However, we do miss the good deal of past years of food and drink before the round and the two drinks after the round!!
