Interesting layout. Greens were good. Tee boxes were OK. Fairways were OK. Range was rough. Mostly dirt. They let us bring our dog which was great. Honestly had a fun day and it was among the least expensive courses we played in the area. Go in with low expectations and you will enjoy yourself.

Pretty average
Played the resort course and cyclone weather stopped us on the 12th hole but was very nice. The legend course is considerably less enjoyable course with not much variety of hole layout and challenge...fairways not in great shape but greens good. Bunkers have NIL sand in them and much work needs to be done to bring them up to playing condition
Palm Springs Hallmark
My second trip around the Legends course this holiday. I continue to love this track. Booked the first time of the day 6:10 and was on the tee at 6:02. The only drawback about playing this early is that I had to hunt down a couple of range balls to get some swings in before teeing it up. Got out ahead of a maintenance worker who was spraying fertilizer and paint on the greens. Played in 2 hours. Nobody let on the back nine this day to hold me up. Played great, was home before the rest of my travel group was even up. Day started cool, about 40 degrees and warmed up to low 50's by the time I completed. Will definitely be back to Tahquitz Creek Legends the next time I visit the desert.
This Course has challenging greens
Course was in very good shape. Fairways were straight forward. Very user friendly - lots of sand traps around the greens but other than that not a lot of trouble. Greens were quite challenging. We really enjoyed our round.

Good course for the money
This course is a very good value in the Palm Springs area. Fairways in good condition. Greens in excellent condition.
Great shape & value.
This course is in great shape and a good value. The staff could use some training on friendliness.
There was no one to greet us and tell us where to go. The driving range was in horrible condition, hitting off dirt.
A Decent Course with a few Drawbacks
Overall a decent course, but a few main drawbacks, as follows:
- About nine of the holes are very similar to each other (400 +/- yards, par 4, straight)
- In some locations, the adjacent houses are too close to the fairways … any fades or draws could be a problem
- The sand in the traps was relatively hard and difficult to work with
- There are several road crossings for the cart paths … even one or two on major streets
