Over priced, poorly managed
Its old. Old carts, old everything. Play thru a ditch. Dangerous layouts. Overpriced track. Better courses to choose from
Nice Value
This course offers a nice value for the Palm Springs area
Great course
Course was fairly wide open, but the greens were awesome. Anything above the hole made you pay.
We thought the whole experience was great and will be back
Not Happy.
Our tee time was at 1:30 p.m.. We were told it was still possible to play 18 holes before dark. The course was crowded but, the pace of play was terribly slow. No course marshal to speed play. We actually had 4 male golfers playing from the red tees just ahead of us.....ahhhh! We were only able to play 14 holes before dark. I'm told the course even has allowed 6 golfers in a group playing out of 4 bags???
Decent course with some nice views
This property has two courses. The Legends and Resort. On this trip we played the Legends and was paired us with a nice couple. The course conditions are really good, fairways are well kept, rough is not too thick, sand traps are maintained and raked, and greens are on the faster side. All the greens slope downward and pin placements were tough making putting a bit frustrating. For that reason I wouldn’t play this course again. Resort is much much better and I would recommend that course.
Still winter golf
The calendar still says early February and when the sun set on us prior to completion of our round we knew it. My only issue with the course was our start time of 1:30. Even at a good pace we finished in the dark leaving a slightly bittersweet taste of the day.
Otherwise, the course was great, the greens to our group were very fast and the pin placement was challenging. A very nice day overall for my first day of golf on vacation!
Course conditions and price
The greens were good but a bit hard. Areas of fairways didn’t have grass. We paid $59 in 2020 to play this course and played often. Accidentally hit an $89 deal on golf now for Thursday the 3rd. The course is worth $59 to $65.
Best Award for creative writing in Ads for the course
Definitely a “locals” course and not worth 1/2 the money compared to other much better courses in the area. Award for creative writing - fiction — for course ads and for relative of course personnel who must have given the course 4-5 stars.
Fun and very good value
We had fun playing this course and it was a very good value for the Palm Springs area
Not bad for the money
I’m guessing that the Resort course is where this management company spends its money because it is in much better shape than the Legend course. There are some rough holes hitting across what looks like a potential construction site. But if you get a good rate, it’s a nice round.
