Hawk's Landing Golf Club
About
The 18-hole Hawk's Landing Golf Club in Orlando, FL is a resort golf course that opened in 1986. Designed by Joe Lee, Hawk's Landing Golf Club was later remodeled by Robert E. Cupp III.
At just over 6600 yards and carrying a slope rating of 134, the Hawk's new layout differs markedly from its predecessor designed by Joe Lee. Water is in play on 15 of its 18 holes and the entire back nine. Consistently recognized for its great greens, Hawk's Landing is conveniently located at exit 67 off Interstate 4. Winding around three sides of Florida's largest resort and convention center, this course offers an exciting 18-hole challenge and a great golf experience.

great views of the resort. Photo submitted by Scott4497478 on 09/21/2012
Course good as always
Got a good rate from golfniow unfortunately it was for 4pm so we only managed to play 15 holes as pace of play was very slow as always course did not disapoint always try to play when here on vacation would recommend if you can get a good rate
Excellent condition
Played here for over 15 years, course in e excellent condition as always. Recent course changes are exciting.
Couples vacation
Got paired with enjoyable couple and had perfect weather. Course was in great shape and pace of play was fine, minimal waiting on a few holes. Favorite course we played this trip. Loved the layout and beauty of the course and how different each hole was. Water came into play some but manageable. Bunkers could have been improved. Got refreshment at the turn but there was no cart girl or lounge so that would have been nice, but not a big deal. Little pricey, but worth it. Definitely plan to come back next trip!
Best round in a long time
Not much else to say. It was a very enjoyable experience all around.
Forgot how nice the place was!
Played a round with a lovely couple from Wisconsin.
The fairways were nice. The greens were hard but fair.
Lovely day.
Great Track
The reviews aren’t wrong about POP and the tee boxes, but still a great track.
Great Course
Great course conditions after several days of rain before playing.
Greenkeepers revenge
Course was fun to play and in good condition. Some tee boxes were in ruff shape and unlevel.
Greens were in nice shape but the pins were in impossible spots. On top of ridges and on slopes and 1 or 2 paces from the edges. I would play it again.
Hole in one
Great course layout, short in length but challenging with water in play on most holes! Greens were in fantastic shape, and topped the day off with a hole in one on the signature 18th hole!
Love This Course!
I try to play this course every time I visit Orlando. There is a lot of water, but doesn't come into play as much as you might think. Course was in fantastic shape despite having 3" of rain the night before.
Fantastic
1st time and absolutely loved it. Will definitely play here again when I return to Orlando.
Played off green tees and was a good challenge.
Quite fair for how much water there is.
Would recommend playing here.
First time play @Hawks Landing
Course was good but target golf, practice range is average but balls included. Pace of play ok - 4:15.
Nice course!!!
First time played here, loved it! Beautiful course, very well maintained fairways and greens; super friendly staff members are fuper helpful... will definitely return in near future!!!
Light bang for the buck
I truly do not mind paying top dollar for a top course, this was not it. Cost was slightly cheaper than what was listed on GolfNow ($175 paid $150), so that was a nice surprise. The course design had a lot of interest and challenges, without too many lost balls! The conditions were, “meh” for ur being peak season. The greens were sanded and the fairways just didn’t have it. Well kept bunkers and a bit better than average tee boxes. Several holes played shorter than normal due and the 18th’s island green just didn’t pack the punch that it could. Overall an enjoyable round on a pretty good course.
Water challenges
The water came in to play often, but thankfully some wasn't a factor for the forward tees. It is interesting that on one hole, the golfers exiting the green have to drive back across where the golfers behind them are hitting up to the green. The 18th hole island green is quite a challenge.
