Mission Hills - Gary Player Course

First time playing the course. The wind really picked up but that just added a little more challenge to the round. First, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The course is challenging but forgiving on missed shots in the fairways. Outside the fairway is dry and most holes have hills on the sides so even if you don’t hit the fairway, there is a good chance of it rolling back down. The fairways and greens are nice but quite firm. Hard to hold the ball on the greens but running up or landing on front of greens, recommended. Course is showing signs of warmer weather and windy conditions. Overall, really fun round and good experience.

Tee markers are lame. Difficult to pick out when driving to the tee box.

Some were metal that were turned in a direction that was hard to see.

Some were rocks, not consistent throughout the course.

Seems like decent size painted rocks would be an easy solution.

Wouldn't have to be fancy, just brightly painted rocks consistent on all the holes.

Great potential for this course, just feels like it is a little overpriced for what you get. Staff were friendly enough, fairways weren’t great…greens weren’t poor and tee box as a whole were in good shape. Just had high expectations.

Friendly, course in nice condition

Course in great shape. Water on many holes. Greens were running 11 (fast). Great layout where each hole felt like you were alone on the course. There were drinking water stations every other hole. Only issue was pace of play. No marshals and took almost 5 hours. Definitely recommend this course.

Tees, fairways and greens in great shape. Good layout. Fun course. But, the rough, many of the bunkers, several water features, etc. are not well maintained. The clubhouse, facilities more resemble a local muni rather than what you’d expect. You can tell from pictures online and inside the clubhouse that this place was once in much better shape when affiliated with the Westin.

Course in great shape, great layout, good pace of play

All very good with the exception of T-Boxes. They are rough, uneven, unkept. Also, went to get items in the proshop and a beer in the lounge, but all were closed at 3:00 pm

Have always loved playing here, started went the houses were first being built…. Course is in great shape, very playable!!! I would and have recommended this course many times!!!

Nice course but needs a bit of TLC. Nice layout but it's a bit ragged at places. Club house is like a couple of ports cabins joined together.
