Mission Hills - Gary Player Course

Course Rough sloped inward to direct errant balls back towards fairways. Makes course very forgiving for weekend warriors who may not be as accurate on all shots. Would definitely recommend

I enjoyed the golf course. Many interesting holes. Good layout and variety. Mostly good condition. Good value.

Played out here recently- course is in spectacular condition- greens are fast (heard folks saying how fast the greens were) but not crazy country club speeds. So I thought them really fair. Everything else was in really good shape. Driving range- free- and grass - so huge plus.

Carts have seen better days - most of the seats torn up would really be the only course complaint.

Pace was super slow they let me off as a single and I waited on 14 holes on a threesome that was waiting on some other folks - not a big deal for me as I was there to hit golf balls so I just played two balls per hole and had a great time.

When compared to other courses locally its a great deal for around $100. (again comparing it to courses in the desert not elsewhere) High season everything is $150 or more.

Great greens and fairways, bermuda is still dormant so does not look so good.’

Staff is great, just wish golf and its dynamic pricing would go away, valley golf is way overpriced.

Might have been a great course when first opened but the course is not well maintained. Lots of bare spots, holes in the “rough” which was mainly bare earth. No overseeing of Rye in the rough. Greens were decent and the rocks and water features were nice.

Overall a decent course in ok condition. Greens suffer from players not repairing pitch marks . There were no balls in several of the bays on the driving range and play was ridiculously slow..

Too much competition in the desert to return

Nice day and perfect conditions.

The course itself (and carts) felt a bit worn and the greens were very quick.

The good price from golf Now seemed like a fair value but I would hesitate to play here if they were their standard rates.

Lies were very tight both on the fairway and off. Probably because of the winter weather.

This was a really fun course for me, which is saying something since I played terribly. I liked the layout. A lot of the holes were interesting. Good mix of short and long. Water and no water. Fairways and greens in good shape. Greens were not tough to read and rolled true.

Quibbles: they ran out of carts and I had to share with another single. Can be a little awkward. I didn’t see anyone selling any drinks or snacks on the course. The “clubhouse” is not much of anything and closed at 2:30, including the bathroom. Take a leak on 15 if you’re gonna finish in the afternoon.

We’re in the valley I thought that it was a pretty good price. And a Teebox is made it so that I could play and my wife could play up. It was very enjoyable greens were very nice.

This was one of our favorite courses and so we

were a little disappointed in the shape of it today. Golf carts were in horrible condition all ripped up and not clean. The Tee boxes were not properly marked so a little frustrating to know where to tee off from. I will say when we mentioned this at the turn they were concerned and seemed to get it taken care of.

This review is for a round we didn't play. We had a starting time booked for 2/11 and on 2/10 I ended up in the Emergency Room at Eisenhower Hospital with a very large hematoma in my lower leg. It was obvious that I wasn't going to be playing golf. I called the course from the ER and -- even though we were inside the 24-hour cancellation window -- the Pro Shop staffer graciously cancelled our reservation -- gratis. More specially, he wished me a speedy recovery and sounded absolutely genuine. We'll be back to the desert next year and will definitely book a time or two at Mission Hills North.

Lack of attention to detail, Cart paths, Tee boxes, General grounds keeping .

Driving range very poor.
