Mission Hills - Gary Player Course

The grass was in good condition and the staff was friendly. It was a beautiful golf course.

I like the course. Played at least 8 times over the last 6 years. Fun course. Challenging enough.

Pace of play was great. Course had a few tough spots but overall in pretty good shape. We played at the end of their season so maybe maintenance was in relaxed mode. I definitely recommend just watch the price.

Great experience; course conditions were best I've seen on this course (and I've played it many times). Pace of play: 3.5hrs! Lots of discounts available ( Golfnow, Underpar, Golfmoose).I'll be back before it gets too 🔥!

We love Mission Hills, Gary player North course. Every year we come down here we make it a point to play the course, it’s fairly open and very generous with the fairways and the men’s tea boxes make it very playable. The staff is always friendly and I’m definitely gonna recommend you and we’ll play it again every year I’m here. Thanks again for a great day!

I played only 15 hole because of the rain and windy condition but all the course is really great and challenging greens are in really good shape ..

This course is exactly what it is now, a former shell of itself. Layout is great & the fact you still get free range balls before your round is a plus.

But the staff is just there to be there, they don’t care about pace of play or “extra” maintenance around the course. Tee boxes, fairways & greens are all good. But visually in other areas around the course need some attention. The Cart Staff/Starter was not very friendly & did not even remember my name when I told him 3x. Apparently they are short on carts, however have no issue allowing groups of 5 to play. But it’s a cheaper priced course in the Desert so it is exactly where is it currently.

Played in 3 1/2 hours.Unfortunately, the quality of this course has gone down over the years. Maintenance is not as good as it has been in the past. Fairways are still good and greens are still very good but just off the fairways grass is sporadic, unkept and with many bare spots with sand and dirt.

Resort course quality with a public course price. Well maintained. Good selection of tee options to match a golfers ability. The only thing that needs improvement is the Bunkers. While not terrible, they definitely need more sand. If you land in a Trap use a low bounce wedge instead of your Sand wedge and you will do fine.

Shout out to Justin for being one of the friendliest staff we've met playing golf in the area. The course is in very good shape. It's changed management a bunch, but remains consistently in great shape. More challenging than many others in the area, but also very beautiful. Highly recommend. The club house is bare bones and not really welcoming for a 19th hold situation. But I'm here to play golf. What happens after isn't really in consideration.

Fairways and greens are in good condition. Rough and off fairways are in rather rough shape.

Dry conditions left the fairways scratchy and slightly too many tight lies. Tea boxes and greens were in pretty good condition

Course seems to be underwatered so fairways were kinda scratchy. Greens are pretty good. Tee box and bunkers are ok also.

Excellent weather and a fun course. Course needs a bit of attention on some fairways but realize it’s end of peak season. Really had a fun game of golf. Good value too. Very professional Staff.

The course has all the pieces to be a great course. However they have really neglected the course maintenance and it is unfortunate. I know new management has come in and I am sure they will be investing some money.

Apparently, many of the sprinkler heads are broken and there are many brown or bare spots all over the course.

From a playability standpoint the biggest issue are the sand traps. There is no sand at all. It is a clay hard surface.

The greens are I. Great shape but extremely slow and that may be on purpose or it may be they are not rolling them.

Anyway, I did enjoy playing the course. I will definitely play it again. It is good value and a challenging layout.
